Great job! I've been saying for like a decade that nobody writes parts that are more fun to play than Aaron. If I made my own list it would probably be dominated by The Shape of Colour / The Way Forward era. Heck, Leave No Stone would probably have 2 or 3 lol For me the riffs that made me fall in love were Siren Sound and the verse riff from Moment Marauder
@josspeirce4714 Жыл бұрын
Gotta agree, Aaron is an amazing songwriter and guitar player. It was hard to pick just 15 riffs to include lol so I tried to have an even spread across most of their albums. I debated including some riffs from a voice within, but despite Intervals being my favorite band I'm not very familiar with that album, maybe I'll have to check those out some more.

@josspeirce4714 Жыл бұрын
Haha wish I could say I did, I have all the tab books so I just used those. I did figure out part of mnemonic by ear the day it came out tho because I was too impatient to wait for the tabs to come out 😂
@Chris_Nouvelli Жыл бұрын
@@josspeirce4714 It’s an amazing achievement regardless. Very envious of your playing, great work. I bought the AM-6 before really knowing much about Intervals and Aaron Marshall - now I’m all in. It was just a great guitar I needed to have! Unfortunately it seems almost impossible to find the tab books here in England.
@josspeirce4714 Жыл бұрын
@@Chris_Nouvelli Well thank you, I appreciate it! Yeah the AM-6 is amazing, I've been a huge fan of Intervals since seeing them live a few years ago and when the guitar came out I knew I had to get it. Also you should be able to find online versions of the tabs on sheethappenspublishing.com if you haven't looked there already, you can get some of the backing tracks there too.

I'm thinking about getting the siganture model you are using. Is it worth it, how does it play? The sound seems to be pretty good :)
@josspeirce471410 күн бұрын
I love it. It's definitely worth it if you're looking for a reasonably priced guitar that plays great. If it's in your budget, I hear that the USA Custom Shop model is amazing as well, but the one that I have is perfect for me and it plays really well. You can't go wrong either way.

How does a guitar take being tuned all the way down to C for learning Mnemonic?
@josspeirce47143 ай бұрын
Usually I change the strings when actually tuning down but for this video I just used a pitch shifter. You can also change the setup to better suit drop C
@jihwaneom2450 Жыл бұрын
Awesome. What kind of guitar strings are used on Schacter guitars?
@josspeirce4714 Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I personally use Ernie ball slinky strings gauge 10-46, but you can use others too, that’s just what I prefer

nice,, did you pitch shift to drop c from drop d for the 1st song w/ the plini x plugin?

I did! I was too lazy to tune my guitar down just for a couple of the riffs so I just went for that instead lol
