I loved Tuca Tuca by Lush, sadly it's discontinued but it was a very nice sweet violet. I also love Guerlain Insolence EDT. It's gorgeous!

Dear Yana, please make a part two of violet perfumes! I found slow dance byredo in budapest without knowing your review on it, loved it and bought it online a few days later. Now I´m looking forward to receiving a sample of skymning svensk perfym. In between I had ordered insolence edt and edp and sent them back the same day. It smelled like strange plastik and rotten berries. Thanks for your videos!

I am working on the violet part 2 and already have a few fragrances. I couldn't get along with insolence but maybe one day it will work out for me. So glad to hear you like Slow Dance, it is one of my faes for sure. Skumning is a gorgeous parma violet scent.

I'm not a superexpert in violet fragrances but I'm in love with Kerbside Violet by Lush. It's sharp, cold, strong and grassy. To me it's the quintessence of a clean-white-shirt smell. The ones you mentioned sound all interesting. If I had to choose one, I'd say I could easily blind-buy Vintage Violet

My favorite violet perfume is Balenciaga Paris. So beautiful smells like candy violets. Balenciaga l’essence also wonderful too... violets with a leathery kick.

One of my favorite fragrances is Grenadille d’Afrique from Aedes de Venustas. It is a fragrance that features a unique Blackwood tree resin that gives off facets of wood and smoke with a warming laudanum with soft touches of vanilla and bergamot and lavender and violet. It is a sophisticated, elegant fragrance that is never overbearing or loud, but very long lasting. Expensive, yes, but a real compliment getter. A real under the radar gem !

So here is my list of my best violets😉: the first and greatest of them all is Borsari Violetta di Parma, following is random: Balenciaga Paris, D2quared She Wood, Molinard Violette, Alexander McQueen My Queen, L'Artisan Verte Violette and Drole de Rose, Parfums de Rosine Rose de Neige, Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet, Rancé1795 Pauline, Lolita Lempicka Minuit Noir, John Galliano Edp, Tom Ford Violet Blonde. On my wish-list i also have Histoires d parfums Blanc Violet and Oriza leGrande Violette tzar(sorry for misspelling some names).

Yana and her boyfriend's taste are by far the closest to mine. I love Zara 7.0 and Hugo Boss Bottled Night. I felt like trying Skyming and Vjola. Can't wait for part 2!

I have a sample of that one and even though I adore that chocolate vanilla overdose it has nothing to do with violts. To me there is not even a hint of violet in there which is a pity! Definitely give these ones a try, you'll be impressed. Take care, Heather!
