I also bought Reign in blood on cassette when it came out. The best thing about it was you didnt have to rewind it after listening to it, you just flipped it over and it would play from the beginning because it had the album on both sides.

Oh man starting the video off won’t that whiplash LP is an immediate subscribe from me man. Absolutely unhinged speedy thrash! sacrifice is a new band I love for me! Bathory is top 5 bands for me. Always l loved the look of that hellhammer Album on wax man it’s an album that belongs on LP. Seeing classic after classic like this makes me regularly fantasize about being a teenager in the 1980s. What a time it must have been 🍻

First timer here & I completely agree with your *Sodom / Bathory / Possessed / Hellhammer / Destruction & Celtic Frost* picks, brother. Though if I were to compile my own list, without a doubt, topping mine would be the 1987 release from Canada’s own *Slaughter* titled *Strappado.* I mean, you wanna talk *’killer’* then trust me when I tell y’all it is all that, yet so, so much more, as well. I have the Slaughter album plus the Surrender Or Die Demo on vinyl. I originally got a copy of the Demo when I was in High School. Killer Band !,,!

Love all of these. Wish I had an older copy of the Sacrifice record. I have a modern reissue and it sounds horrendous, one of the worst sounding records I own. Great album though.

I used to have that Hellhammer and Sacrifice. Two thrash albums I wished I kept. Violence and Force, Flag of Hate, Dark Angel's We have Arrived, Hirax's Raging Violence, Exciter's Violence and Force, Nuclear Assault's Game Over...so many great ones! Slayer's Seasons In the Abyss etc.

I've had them for about 20 years lol actually all my shelves are supported with L brackets a lots of screws I didn't that in 2008 after one fell apart when I was moving and it was empty. It just after all the years and weight of the records the shelves have bowed because they are pressed wood.
