E, for me personally, I love the fact that you’ve been posting everyday…I wake up, get my cup of tea, sit down at my dining room table, grab my phone and see what E’s got on the burner….so I vote not to change a thing! ALL HAIL THE CHAIR!😁

Night Film was really good. That bridge scene was creepy for sure! Plan to finish It someday and I'm interested in Geek Love. Keep it going with the daily videos!

I have Betty, Night Film, and The Goldfinch currently sitting unread on my TBR. Guess I need to make time for them. As for my personal favorite book, I used to tell people that I didn't have one, that my favorites shift with the seasons -- and then I read Lonesome Dove.

Well, shoot! My powers of precognition were foiled again. Lol I’ll have to go and really think about what my favorites have been. Much easier to list my favorites films over books, but I’ll give it a shot.

Added a few of these to my tbr list, loved the You series, not started the last one though yet. I haven't been watching to many of the latest videos to try not to spoil the dark tower, only on book 2 so far😂

It is odd what affects you sometimes. Like little things that stick out in a book, they resonate in a way you wouldn't expect. One that really did that for me was "Black House" by Straub and King. The flashback scene one of the bikers had, the one with the motel, it haunts me almost every day.

This scene from IT is a repeat from The Long Walk. IT: He stood looking up, raised his glove in an almost aimless punching gesture, and instead of settling into his glove, the ball had struck him squarely on top of the head, producing a hollow bonk! THE LONG WALK: Once he got under one and jabbed his glove at a hunk of thin air while the ball landed on his forehead with an audible bonk!

I was not prepared for how hard Betty hit me. I think so many authors have wallowed in the misery porn after the success of A Little Life that they forget to work in the magic. Books that can make me laugh on one page and feel like I'm about to have a heart attack on the next are very rare gems. It also made me realize how rare it is to have positive portrayals of fatherhood in books. It would definitely be somewhere in my top 10.

I'm on my second listen of IT and loving it. I have never read IT. Only listened to IT. I love the narration of Steven Weber. On the first listen, I kept getting triggered anytime someone was abused, so that made it hard, but this second time, I'm only getting a little triggered. I'm at the point where the adults finished the reunion and each one is out and about. Ben sees Pennywise in the library. I'm at the point where Richie is remembering kids playing baseball.

Great books in there Trash, IT is my No.1 also👍🏻👍🏻 The Fog by James Herbert also in my Top 5 which includes the most disturbing scene I’ve ever read! I’ve started Night Film (on one of your previous recommendations) but it’s packed somewhere after our recent move since not far into it yet. Failure is fine, Failure is Good, nobody learns more from anything else and those who “never fail” never do Fcuk all!🙃

18 times? That's awesome. I hate it when I'm told but you already know the story. It's like yeah and I loved it that's why I'm reading it again. I love videos like these. We need more of them. I love tag videos and such but we rarely get actual book discussions anymore

This might sound like sucking up, but it's not. One of my all time favorites is Dastardly Bastard. While I did enjoy the book, its value to me comes from being the vehicle that brought E into my life. The man is a great friend and he gifted me with his believing that I could write if I put my mind to it. 7 books on the Zon bear my name and there are many more to come. Would I have achieved this on my own? Who knows. I know for sure that my friend helped me get here and I owe it all to a racist little person lol. Thanks E. Love you like a brother.

IT word count is 441,156 so 18 times is 7,940,808 words! I've read/listened to The Long Walk 26 times. It has a word count of 83,736 so that's 2,177,136 words. When comparing those two books, I've read 27% the number of words! I'd have to read The Long Walk 95 times to match your IT word count!
