We did have a NYC Hudson almost make it out. 5433 was supposed to go to the National Museum Of Transportation in St. Louis but the museum turned the engine down.

There is a 1937 Canadian Pacific Royal Hudson Locomotive #2839 on display at the Nethercutt Museum in Sylmar California. They allow you to walk through the cab too.

Not to mention, that the D56 became the basis of Molly from Thomas & Friends Also, The NYC Hudson saw themselves in media, including the previously mentioned Thomas series where Connor is based on a Dreyfus Hudson.

The "Holiday" has just had a overhaul and the "Ripley" is being overhauled as this is written. PS, the powers that be at Disney, opted for the less extensive overhaul, having been given a choice.

Bruh, the LBSCR E2s are sh$t. Nobody would’ve seen stupid enough to spare one. Thomas hadn’t even gotten his own TV show

The E2's may not have been all that successful, but I am still a bit of a Thomas fan (with the exceptions of the Sharon Miller seasons and the most recent spin-off series, of course), so even if they weren't all that popular with everyone, without them we wouldn't have gotten the little blue Sudrian tank engine we all know and love. Why else would I have added them in my honorable mentions?
