Yes! Power is an unbelievable song and it totally would have made this list. I love the other songs you mentioned as well. I finally got to see Marillion live back in June in San Francisco and it was one of the best concerts ever. It was the farthest I have traveled for a concert but it was definitely worth it.

I think I agree with about 75% of this, so kudos to you seeing as opinion can range pretty widely :D This Strange Engine will always be my favourite though with Warm Wet Circles from the Fish-era (both missing from your list :D)

Thanks! Yeah, Tux On is a really cool song. And I was sad when I realized I didn't have any Holiday in Eden songs because I do like that album a lot--Cover My Eyes probably would have made my Top 21 list :)

I enjoyed this as both eras were included...The ratio is of no concern to me as much as to see there are people out there who are able to enjoy all of it. (Doesn't mean people have to, but the almost messianic devotion to either the Fish/Hogarth era has always bugged me....particularly since it usually escalates into a war of words.) I'd probably choose some different tracks but that's totally cool...With few exceptions, Marillion writes some great songs, in both eras.

My top 10 would be: Slainte Mhath, The Last Straw, Easter, The Space, The Great Escape, Gazpacho, Afraid of Sunlight, King, Man of a Thousand Faces, Estonia. My apologies to Neverland -- too anticlimactic for me -- needs some more modulation or reincorporation of the theme at the end.

Good call on Somewhere Else, Viviana!. The final three minutes of that song is Marillion at its finest. "Woke up in a spaceship of shimmering gold, floating round in Orion, arrow pointing to heaven, between all the planets, out in the cold."
