Thank you for this wonderful video. Amethyst by Lattafa was the 3rd Middle Eastern Perfume I bought, Rasha by Al Rehab was the first, Shaghaf Oud was my second. In Shagaf Oud there is one note at the start or so that I still have not gotten used to ( saffron perhaps? ) but the dry down is incredible but Amethyst is one of my 4 or so signature scents, I love this so much. Thank you for explaining the types of oud used, I always wondered about the ' Barnyard Oud ' scent , what did it smell like, not realizing that Amethyst has this type of Oud in it. For me this scent is pure slightly dark magic, I adore it. Nothing about this turns me off , right from the start I fell in love and never looked back. So I obviously have no issue with Oud, but not sure what my nose needs to get used to in Shaghaf Oud to begin with. I am pretty certain it is the Saffron as 2 other fragrances that star the Saffron note strongly have been put to the back of my wardrobe 😅. I will revisit these when I have learned to like that note. I love rose scents I have come to realize and gourmand scents are touch and go with me. I do like them if they are not too sweet and have a depth to them but Nebras is something I still am not sure about, but do adore Modest Deux. Hi Tia 👋 Have you tried shagaf Oud in colder weather? It can be a little much if used in the heat. Or it can simply be that something in it just do not work for you. I have always said I am not the greatest fan of Nebras. I think it is OK and a little overhyped. I love modest deux too. We seem to have similar tastes 😊 And I am glad I was at least able to explain yo some extent some types of oud to you. Thanks so much, dear ❤️

@@adwoalovesfragrances5324 Hi, I bought it in late autumn, or almost start of our winter in Tasmania, I feel Shafag Oud just was so strong to my nose, again the opening, not the dry down. A few hours later I felt it was like a different scent, I adore the dry down. I have left it and bought it back out on a very cold winter day and still feel that the first note ( I think it is the sharp saffron note, as I love all the other notes) is a note I need to get used to. Again when it dried down ( on a cold day) it was lovely ( but of course strong which I did not mind as it smelled lovely). Nebras really disappointed me, as so many adore it. Lovely bottle but I have worn it 2 or 3 times and ended up not enjoying it at all. Modest Deux however is so gorgeous, it is a truly lovely perfume, isn't it? Because we are going into summer soon ( we are enjoying spring right now) I watched your video of summer fragrances. I know I would fall in love with so many you recommended but sadly the gorgeous rose perfume by FA Paris (Roses d'Emotion) and so many of the other lovely scents are not available here in Australia and or even if they are on Ebay or Amazon, will not ship to Tasmania or cost of shipping is too high. I love the idea of rose scents and a fresh rose scent sounds lovely. I used to have a perfume I adored but it was discontinued many years ago, not many people wore it here, it was the perfect spring and summer scent , always got compliments , it was Very Valentino , it was floral, woody and to me 'sparkly' and I still am searching for a scent like that one "Sublime " did arrive in Australia ( first bottle was broken and it had leaked into the box and not a drop was left ), it meant when I opened the box, the whole 2 level house smelled divine for 2 weeks 😁😂. They sent me a replacement straight away and I have worn it but the weather was not yet as spring like and I was missing my woody notes or wanted a hint of oud because of the cold. But I will wear it again on a milder day as I think it will be lovely in summer. Dear Adwoa, I am wearing Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends today as it is sunny but 17 degrees Celsius and it always brightens my day. Thank you for all the lovely reviews and videos you do. I love Middle Eastern perfumes. I bought Amethyst snd and it smells soooooo beautiful on my skin. I can't stop smelling myself 😂😂 I love the powdery smell of Shalina, it's a gorgeous smell. Adowa I bought Oud Al Layl because of your wonderful review.

Ameer Al oudh intense oud is the only Lattafa that survived my declutters so far. 😂 Club de nuit intense woman I have a sample of because of the resemblance to noir de noir. It's a good clone for the price, but is linear. I should check some of these others out 😊

I would love for you to explore more middle Eastern perfumes. I know Lattafa doesn't necessarily work for you bit try other Houses or even some raved about Lattafa ones like Honor and Glory, Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold, Reyna, they are really good 👍

Hi Adwoa, I own Club de Nuit Intense and like it very much, received compliments for it. I'm considering purchasing Qaeed as I love the cardamom - is it very prominent in Qaeed? By the way, have you tried Lattafa Perfumes Liam Grey? It is supposed to be a dupe for BDK Gris. You look georgous as always!Hannah

Yes, the cardamom is loud in qaeed but blended beautifully. I had nonidea that Liam Grey was a dupe of Gris chanel. Thanks for the heads up. I always assumed it was a very masculine fragrance. I will check it out 🙌❤️

Very good oud perfume selections. Middle Eastern perfumes are one of my favorite houses!!!! I truly love Amethyst it is my favorite perfume to wear in the fall/winter. Smells sooooooo amazing!!!!
