What a tough list to make. Gutted no Manowar In Honorable mentions but it's cool, here is mine and damn it's tough it's not 100% in order but it's mostly in order 1. Blind Guardian -Imaginations from the other side 2. Symphony x -The Odyssey 3. Manowar - Louder Than Hell 4. Nevermore -Dead Heart In a Dead World 5. Overkill -Years of Decay 6. Helloween -The Dark Ride 7. Jag Panzer - Ample Destruction 8. Iced Earth - Dark Saga 9. Accept - Metal Heart 10. W.A.S.P - Self Titled 11. Iron Maiden - Power Slave 12. Amon Amarth - With Odin on our Side 24. Avantasia - Wicked Symphony 25. Katatoina - the Great Cold Distance Making that was very painful. I'm sure I accidentally left something off, but it's a pretty accurate list for me at this time and If I could include multiple entries off bands I would I left it just to one entry per band and no live albums.

You without a doubt have great taste in music! I’ll give you my top 10 favorite albums of all time and I’m gonna do just studio albums and no live albums: 1. Van Halen (debut): I could put any album from the VH 6 pack as some of my favorite albums ever but I’ll leave them out to be fair. Every time I crank it, I have to play it more than once. Best album in my world! 2. AC/DC - Powerage: My favorite album from my all time favorite band. Again I could put all Bon Scott and some Brian Johnson albums in my list but I’m being fair. 3. Metallica - Kill Em All: The best trash metal album in my world. 4. Ted Nugent (debut): Like I said before, any Nugent album from the 70s and early 80s could make my list! Stranglehold is one of the best guitar solos from anybody 5. Skid Row - Slave To The Grind: everything about this album is amazing but in my opinion, Sebastian Bach is the VIP on the whole album just the way he sings the songs is amazing! As big as a douche Sebastian is nowadays, I think he’s one of the greatest singers ever. 6. Ozzy Osborne - Diary Of A Madman: This should be number 1! Randy Rhodes freaking SKULLS all over this album! 7. Mötley Crüe- Shout At The Devil: I’m gonna quote you on this. This is traditional metal perfection! Every song is a winner! Even the songs that were left off the album are phenomenal! 8. RATT - Out Of The Cellar: I actually started getting into RATT after my friend gave me this album on vinyl. “Scene Of The Crime” is my favorite RATT song. 9. Frank Marino - The Power Of Rock N Roll: I discovered Frank Marino because of you and I thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for turning me on to one of the greatest albums ever made! I also have to agree that the last song is one of the best guitar solos ever! 10. Bon Jovi - Keep The Faith: The reason why I put this in my Top 10 is because BJ is very special in my youth thanks to my mom. “Dry County” is another one of those songs that has on of my favorite guitar solos of all time. I love every song especially the songs that didn’t make the album. Honorable mentions that should’ve made my list: Alice Cooper - Killer Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti Cinderella - Night Songs Ace Frehley ‘78 solo album KISS - Rock And Roll Over

Back in junior high, I didn't like Maiden at all. Eventually my bassist friend told me to listen to the debut, and it was love at first listen. I eventually started liking the Dickinson albums as well, but the first album has remained my favorite - even if we talk about the UK original without Sanctuary (which I have on 7", featuring one of the best Eddie pieces on the cover).

I just finished reading the history of the sportatorium and unbelievable that throughout it's history tennis was played there basketball, hockey was going to be played there but fell through. Famous people and bands that shocked me; Elvis The Stones Zeppelin just floored me. The article says it was one of the venue places that every band or famous headliner wanted to play there even tho they all didn't like the acoustics and the leaky roof and rowdy coward's left a bad taste for them not to return. Built by Calder from the horse racing track. Who tried to buy a few different sports franchises to bring money and entertainment to South Florida. Elvis played there in 1977 Zeppelin 1971, then professional hockey the screaming eagles we're set to be south Florida's first pro hockey team season tickets were sold but the owners deemed it wasn't fit for them and closed their office and turned their phone number off all who bought season tickets were chuck pluck out of their money. But that didn't stop the sportatorium from becoming a must play for almost every big name act. Madonna Whitney Houston and others played there before it's demise in 1988. The last concert for Skynyrd 1977 days before 3 members died in the plane crash October would change the band forever. An interesting read of the history of the best place I've ever seen a concert and awesome memories thanks again for sharing your stubs, opinions and personal experiences there.
