Being an, er, 'older player', I have settled on Ninja Backpack for almost all builds + 3 x Umbra + 2 x Walker & Harris. This kinda setup + Bullet King has seriously upped my game & I love it! That said, I'm off to try your three builds next. 👍

Dude! The striker as in Div 1 is really great thx for sharing. I was really impressed with dmg output considering it's 6 blue cores as Iam mostly all red player and it didn't feel as lacking Great chill build for when u don't want to stress too much over mechanics and just watch vids as u said Also big thank you cuz as I was getting into div 2 everything seemed so complex compared to 1st game with all new changes over the years and your tutorial vids helped me a TON fr to love this game as i was getting the mechanichs and basics. I won't lie at first it seemed like there are no diversity compared to 1st game with specs, named items, gear sets rework and brand sets it was really confusing at first Helped me a lot again. Much love

For the heartbreaker build (personal favorite) I use three blue cores and three red. The named holster. Instead of pulse I use the artificer hive to make my shield next to indestructable. The dps difference is almost not noticed and I become much more tankier.

I agree, since the bonus armor is based off your base, a few blue cores goes a long way. You can go toe to toe with the heavy gunners your armor generation is so fast.

I recently started using BigHorn with my Strikers set and I've been digging it. The extra wpn handling is great for such an unwieldy weapon and at max stacks I can crit over 3.5 mill when scoped in due to BigHorn's perk.

Haven't played since the eagle bearer was a beast. Just redownloaded it last night. Started the manhunt. Gonna play some more tonight, no clue what the top tier builds are. Probably still going to try and build a rifleman/healer. Might even stream it lol

I recently found the lmg GR9 and came with frenzy, i thought wth and threw on my umbral build, let me tell you what… reloading from empty on the GR9 at 200 mag with frenzy and umbral… it melts and is just fun to use. When you get back, try that on and give thoughts.

wouldnt u get more value from speccing HSD instead of CHC especially on builds where u cant fit in ceska or have it on the set bonus'?

Sadly not because of how crit and headshot stack, a crit headshot, even with base HSD is still often very strong with the added benefit of crit body shots. Plus HSD doesn't apply to robo-doggos, drones or Black Tusk Wallies but crit does so it's more versatile.

@@ThatAbrax right but ur total CHD is what under 100? whereas u could get around 160 HSD which would make killing regular NPCs a lot faster allowing u the time to kill the robots, besides for crit just proc finisher and theres ur crit.

I use umbra with a fenris chest with obliterate and the fox prayer knees with the carbine 7 with optimist and the lady death with Gunner the banshee and a revive hive great video

I'm gonna try this out, I run the carbine 7 as well but not lady death. I run Umbra knees, chest mask and gloves, Memento, and either ceska holster or picaro's, i'm about 50/50 red and blue

YES, all blue Striker with chest is insane!… If you use Memento instead and 3 PFE mods (your damage comes from Striker chest) you’ll be a run and gun indestructible monster 💪 I run mine with Palisade also and there’s literally nothing this build can’t do solo or group… Think about it, every token gives around 1m bonus armor… which stacks and stacks 😂 It is best with the Ouro, Dark Winter or Vector Tactical, the high RPM keeps stacks up all the time….

Interestingly I've working toward a hybrid of your striker/heartbreaker setup since starting over on a new platform. Your striker setup, preservation on the famas and all. But swapping the knee pads for strikers then memento backpack and keeping that belstone piece for the regen buff.

Your 3694 SHD level. My question is do these gear set builds only work well in your case on heroic control points? I am only 276 SHD as played div 2 for just under a year. Do u think gear sets can work aswell for a lower level like me just as they do for you who are over 3500 level? :)

They will still work great but I will have a minor attribute advantage over you, as long as you try to get your crit chance close to 60% they will still hit hard. Gear sets are actually great for lower level/SHD players because they can be quick to put together and still pack a punch! Hope that helps!

Why does that shotgun build stacks any faster than an AR? Isn't it just number of hits? I've never understood this.

You are right, it is number of hits but each shotgun pellet counts as a hit for Striker, that means the ACS12 is firing fully auto with each shot counting for 12 or 8 stacks instead of 1 from an AR

I've kinda gone the opposite way in not using gearsets. The only one I sometimes use is the status one for my fire build. Other than that I just stay with yellows and can often replicate or even improve on the gearset attributes. At least as a skill build player, there really isn't many good options for solo play. Though I REALLY want those Emperors Guard kneepads but they're DZ only :*(

@@Galm276 The skill build I'm currently working on is sitting at base 1.1million armour, 50k armour regen (capping at 80k), with 100% extra with both weapon and skill damage. Also got 36% damage mitigation from elites and 50% explosive resists. I just don't understand why someone would use a gear set over that..

@@ThatAbrax on about everything, gear sets are identical but the way the stacks work, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t, it depends on the WI-FI and other factors. The amount of bugs in PS4 is staggering to mention!

1.4 mill headshots that's all? My Diamondback hits body shots 6 mil. And my nemesis i have reached 96 mil with no gear sets. The last few TUs have had shit gear added. Striker ia yeah in div 2. I'd you want to see real loadout send me a msg.

You're comparing different weapon types. Diamondback crit builds can hit in the 17M+ crit headshots with an RPM of 100, the Kingbreaker is hitting 1.4M crit headshots at an RPM of 650, These are very different. Different weapon types are balanced differently, these two being a good example because more often then not a lower RPM means a higher base damage.
