I don't have Copic markers, I have Spectrum Tri-Blends. I am so glad you shared this video to help me better learn how to make the best use of what I already have. The flicking motion was most helpful. Thank you so much. 🌷🇨🇦

And the Tim Holtz mini trimmer is the best thing ever for trimming sentiment strips, labels, thin strips and more. I picked it up for $12.99 on a Black Friday deal but kind of fussed at myself for buying it cause it was “cute”, but I use it daily now. In fact, if I ever see a deal like that again I might pick one up for work! You just have so much control and I used to have trouble with it little pieces slipping- no more. The trick, of course, like all of the guillotine trimmers is to hold down the clear potty before you trim!

i totally agree! I just recently picked one up and love it for these little sentiment strips

Mindy I LOVE your card and your coloring, thank you so much for sharing your tips! Quite honestly, I want to color so much with Copics and I think because there's so much information out there for how to color with them, that I've gotten information overload trying every technique and I'm not enjoying the process. And I'm not happy with my coloring, your tips are so simple and easy that I really think I can practice more and get better. Thank you again!

I agree that we can get information overload sometimes and be too overwhelmed with the more realistic looking coloring - takes all the fun out of it. It's gorgeous but for starting out, a person needs to start slow and allow yourself permission to mess up once in a while. :-) Enjoy the process and glad you found this helpful!

I wish you had talked about your thought process in adding the dots around the flowers. It looks lovely - do you aim to put it in shadowy areas or just where your heart feels they should go?

I used to think I wasn’t very good with my Misti and my wrists would ache but my Smoosher was a game changer (a similar tool) - it had nothing to do with the Misti but my weak wrists.

yes - wonderful tool! I'll still use my hands to push for super intricate stamps but love the pressure tools

oh gosh I'm sorry I don't. I get nervous on amazon because there are so many out there and my luck, I'd order the wrong one lol
