It looks like you were tracing items along the bottom. Did you use pencil under or over the underglaze?

New to sgraffino and wonder if leather hard or bisque is when you carve?

I am so sorry I am just now seeing this comment! Leather hard is the time to carve. I like to carve a little past leather hard personally to get clean lines. Hope that helps! Again, sorry I missed your comment!
