My Top 30 Disney & Non-Disney Songs

A comprehensive list of my favourite Disney and Non-Disney songs. This was difficult! I never realised how hard it would be to narrow it down to just 30 songs. Some great songs are notably absent, 'A Whole New World' and 'Perfect Isn't Easy' to name a few. I had to make some tough calls. It hurt, but it had to be done.
You might notice that the list is slightly biased towards a certain furry four-legged feline. What can I say, Simba is my homeboy.
Humourous moment at around the 2:41 mark, when it looks like Timon is singing. Well, it made me chuckle.

I do not own any of the music and/or characters and images used in the making of this video.
EDIT: I am a complete and utter tit for leaving out one of the best non-Disney songs of all time, "You Can't Keep A Good Dog Down" from All Dogs Go To Heaven. Charlie B Barkin, please forgive me.

wow, for once a list that I can almost completely agree with... almost. But I was extremely happy to see those villain songs in there too, especially Hellfire and In the Dark of the Night (and Savages if that counts). I personally like those more than the happy and the love songs most of the time. Sadly they are a lot harder to sing... Anyway, great list! Now, if you excuse me I will go listen to all those songs full length.

Be Prepared is the best villain song! I'm surprised there were no Tarzan songs, but it was still a very good list.

Why does no one ever remembers "Quest for Camelot"? It's a great movie, with amazing songs! It's not a Disney classic, but is as good as one. Even though, I like the songs in the list =P

I LOVE this list! I could get angry saying "You Didn't Include My Favorite!" but then I saw the date and remembered it didn't come out yet. I don't know why I'm saying this XD And I liked that your #1 song was a villain song! I've never seen that before! The only change I'd make is to make Colors Of The Wind higher on the list, but other than that - AWESOME!

We must be soulmates. I would have picked the exact same songs; maybe in a slightly different order though. Thanks especially for making room for great songs from Anastasia and The Swan Princess (I'm thinking of "Once Upon a December" and "This was my Idea"), which are not Disney movies, but deserve to be there nonetheless. Great choice also to put "Hellfire" 5th place and "Be Prepared" 1st place, which are epic songs that, I noticed, are very often omitted from others' top Disney songs.

Yes, you have good taste in songs, though I was disappointed that you had "That's What Friends are For" and "The Bare Nessecities" but not, in my opinion, the best "Jungle Book" song: "I Wanna Be Like You", but I guess it's your opinion, not mine.
