I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a new video from Scentrifugal Force, and not only that, it’s a top 30, and not only that, it’s on my absolute favourite note in perfume, VANILLA, and I knew that that Velvet Vanilla was going to be number one. I’ll probably watch this video 100 times. Excellent video.

I think Intense Cafe by Montale deserves to make a Vanilla list. And what should absolutely be in there is Straight to Heaven Extreme by Kilian. Such an amazing Vanilla and Rum combination.

Well, that sucks! :( Sorry! To me, Black Vanilla is FAR denser than VV. (Though, I do love the way it smells!) Black Vanilla gives off a very tropical vibe to me. Which just let the cat out of the bag for the next top 10 video that is in the making. :-P

One that I would have added, and it would be damn near the top of the list - ok, it's at the ALL TIME top of my fragrance favorites - is Gold II by Widian. It is simply a gorgeous warm vanilla amber fragrance that turn my eyes toward heaven and thank God for the sense of smell! This one has been discontinued and is very hard to find, but thank God I have a bottle!

Loved it!!! Have you tried Guerlain Le Plus Beau Jour De Ma Vie, it would totally make this list, the notes are perfection. Sugared almonds, vanilla, anise, orange blossom. It’s a lighter airy fragrance but still has great presence. I must try that Omnia one, sounds great.

@john exelmans I have this scent and it’s very nice. Have you tried Spiritueuse Double Vanille by Guerlain? The two are often compared. If I could, I’d bathe in the Guerlain. It’s a boozy, rum-drenched vanilla. Very well blended. It doesn’t project far but it lasts. Between the two, the Guerlain is richer, more boozy, and it endures. If you enjoy Eau des Missions, I would love to know what other perfumes sing to you. Be well, be happy 😊😊
