A different theme: The movie 'Ida' is filmed in black and white by a cinematographer who is also obviously a stills photographer. Recommended.

Great list, thanks. I also really liked "The Midnight Meat Train" with Bradley Cooper from 2008. Among others. Cheers

Wow, they’re all awesome movies. I love how photography was used to embrace a family connection in the film Kodachrome. Another photography movie to check out would be “LEE”.

Those are great films. Another one that I think any photographer would love is Road to Perdition with Tom Hanks. Jude Law plays the photojournalist who is also a hit man. It's a great drama/mobster/photography movie set in 1930s Chicago and the Illinois countryside with incredible acting and breathtaking cinematography and a lot of focus on old glass plate view camera and Kodak film photography.

Oh wow that sounds incredible. Definitely going to check that out.

Seriously, good lineup, but man, you left out some top-notch films… Under Fire (1983) Salvador (1986) Bang-Bang Club (2010) Shooter (1988) A Made For TV movie, surrounding Photojournalist David Hume Kennerly (not to be confused with 2007 theatrical film of the same title, about a sniper) Rear Window (I see someone beat me to that) Eyes Of Laura Mars (1978) In The Public Eye (1992)

@@Ryanjleonephotography The only film that you are probably not going to locate, would be Shooter. Like I mentioned it was a ‘Made For TV” movie and locating these MFTV films are hit-n-miss. I have been looking for it for close to 15 years. Save for a few clips (actually just network promos) on KZbin, that is all I have been able to dig up. All the other films you can find on KZbin, Prime, ect…My favorite is Under Fire, don't particularly agree with ‘Leftist’ tone of the film, but damn it is a great film.
