Nice. I picked up a Capilene midweight base layer at a benefit store in Carmel and I love it. Really warm. The Torrentshell 3L rain jacket has been working well too.

Cool, I never pay retail price and always look for a good deal. REI is having their membership sale this week. I'm looking for a good deal on a Torrentshell 3L, I currently have an OR Helium rain jacket.

@@DarrenYee Nice. I'll keep an eye out. I have some dividends to spend. I picked up the Torrentshell 3L for $104 at REI so look out for sales. It's a bit stiff, but it checks all the boxes for a hard shell for me. I know it'll work in the rain heh. I'm thinking of ditching my puffy jackets all together. The Senchi Designs Wren Polartec Alpha fleece works great and the TorrentShell 3L is really warm.

I love strider shorts, I own both version, 5 for warmer days and 7 for cooler days, also find strider pants very good for windy days. I also own Hourdini jacket and found the its blocking wind well but not very breathable, so looking to try airshed pro. Cheers

Awesome, I just picked up a Houdini wind shirt as well and really like how compact it packs down too. I also recently purchased a Torrent Shell rain jacket to replace my older OR Helium rain jacket for more protection. The Strider Pro shorts rock!

@@DarrenYee I recently discovered wind jacket from adidas terrex agravic pro, which is little bit better than Houdini, as it has vents, elasticated cuffs and houd, also its only 96 gramms for size L. also white color for summer hight mountans should be good. Cheers

Thanks for the comment, What do you not like about it? The recycled material, durability, weather resistance?

Net Plus is like wearing a plastic coat.@@DarrenYee But even their signature fleece seems cheaper.. IMO
