I was pitched the stubby antenna for my ND. The dealer told me it looked nicer and it was more powerful so I bought it. After one day I took it back. Radio reception was awful with it. I don’t mind the original antenna and prefer decent radio reception but that is personal preference. Though I have to admit in recent years I listen more to streamed radio and Apple music through CarPlay than the actual radio.

I took the front plate off of my E550 as well. It looks infinitely better. Planning on getting an ND and I'll definitely keep it off. With the white paint I feel like darkened side markers would look nice. On my black car I did clear and it looks clean.

Your MX-5 looks amazing. White letters on the tires are my favorite, I might do the same, thanks for the idea. I bought a 2012 six speed manual several months ago, with only 30K miles, I couldn't pass it up, it's like new. The first things I did, was change the Chinese made crappy tires to General G MAX and got rid of the long antenna replaced it with a stubby.

It’s rare to get actual good content in only 4 minutes. I like it all. The tires look sweet, I’m curious how they will wear. I’m definitely spraying the calipers if I don’t get the Brembo package. I thought you had to remove them but if you don’t that’s much easier! Was the antenna really time consuming or was that a joke? 🤞

I don't think it's legal to drive without a front license plate in California. And my front tow mount is 1/2-13 I think

In Nevada it’s legal to leave the plate off the front. One caveat: it’s legal only if you don’t put on the front mounting hardware. Not a problem since most dealers don’t install it and simply leave the mounting hardware in the trunk. And putting a “decorative” plate on the front is definitely a no-no. Just leave it clean and all is good…in Nevada. :)
