Great picks! I’ve seen all of dragonball from og to Super and will be watching Daima but never picked up the figures (I’d want them all!) Aside from Freiza I think perfect Cell is a necessary villain for any collection. The new Tonsen Trunks looks like a good contender for the SHF collectors that were disappointed.

I’d collect all the figures from all the Dragon Ball shows if money wasn’t a factor. Cell is definitely a must too! But sadly his perfect form SHF releases have seemed a bit lackluster. The 3rd party companies have been killing it! I’ve got a few Demoniacal Fit figures and my Tosen Arts Kid Buu finally shipped!

No matter how many figures I get, nothing beats that legendary SS Goku. I literally just said this yesterday. Mr.Satan/Hercule and Gohan (passed Goku) are my other two favorites!

If you have issues with the original Trunks release: put some nail polish on the pegs ( left arm, legs, knee cap) and let it dry, put it back on, done. Edit: your number 1 pick has a lot of QC issues too. Neck peg too short, torso peg too short, wrong color for the chest piece, wobbly legs and ankles. They fixed most of it on the re release, but not the neck peg. To fix it you have to remove the socket from the head, take a small piece of paper/tissue, roll it in a ball and put it inside. Put back the socket and compress the piece of paper, done. It will give Goku an extra 2 millimeters of neck and he won’t look like a stubby dwarf anymore.

That’s fair. I guess I got lucky with mine, the shorter neck honestly doesn’t bother me and I don’t notice the different color chest in person really. I really don’t trust myself enough to take figures apart to fix 😅 But that sounds simple enough so I’ll give it a shot! That is great advice, thank you 😊

@@justjustin_collects “DBZ figure addict” did a video on how to fix the neck. It’s easy to do ( takes 5 minutes and no skills) but you do NOT have to put glue like he did ( totally unnecessary and scary if you mess up). Give it a shot.

You have to get that full power frieza! It is in my opinion the best figure they have put out! I think it’s even better than the legendary ss goku. You really can’t have that goku without that frieza.

i completely agree with your top 5! maybe i’d switch Krillian With maybe one of the SSJ4s or turles etc. I always thought the buu saga was the weakest one but the more i watched it what made it the weakest is it had so many ideas it wanted to do but couldn’t execute them but still an amazing saga i love!

Thank you! Yeah there are so many good figures it makes it a lil difficult to narrow down to a top 5. I completely agree about the Buu Saga. Parts of it really drug out and others felt rushed. They built Gohan up just for him to get clapped. It felt weird

So is there an ultimate goku figure? Like what is the best goku figure period? I keep seeing all these upgrade kits, I never owned any dragon ball/z/gt/kai/super anime figures and just purchased the gt goku with the extra kit from 5ktoys. I'm looking forward to it, but I feel it's a slippery slope, I usually collect Amazing yamaguchi marvel. Very fun time. that trunks figure is very tempting, also that goku first transformation is definitely goated!

The perfect Goku figure is really hard to nail down. I guess it really depends on what your favorite form is. The “Saiyan Raised on Earth” Goku is pretty good. The SDCC exclusive Goku looks amazing! I’ve also heard the Demonical Fit Goku (Legendary Martial Artist) is great. But for me my favorite is the Legendary Super Saiyan Goku.
