My Top 5 Favorite Ways to Use Sticky Notes

I use full-size sticky notes (sticky all over) from Post-It. I make a long one by cutting it in half; it fits in the "Notes" column and I put all of the annual dates on it: Birthdays, Anniversaries, Memorials, etc. Then, once all the info has been transferred to the monthly/weekly spaces, I can move the sticky note back to the storage page where I keep all of them. This way I have a list at a glance when I need it.

I used sticky notes all the time when I was getting my master’s degree. I wrote the nights I had classes, when I had assignments due, when we had group projects. It helped me out so much!💛💛💛💛💛

I use sticky notes for my monthly appointments etc in the monthly section. Then transfer them to the day of the appointment etc.

Another way I use them is to keep a set on my gratitude planner. I write in it each day what I am thankful for that day, as I am in bed. Often I think of something I need to remember until morning and so -- sticky note on the cover of the planner to remind me! #kellofafan

I, too, use them for future scheduled appts/ events in my monthly then move to week/ day of when I get to that week.

Thanks to your earlier vid, I've been using sticky notes to plan meals on my monthly view. I LOVE IT!!! I do one color for dinners, but then if I need to make, say, a side dish or a lunch out of perishable ingredients (like a fruit salad), I add that using a different sticky note color. I use the Jot brand neon flags from Dollar Tree, they have a variety of colors, stick firmly, yet can be moved around easily. I also follow your method of putting appointments that are months out on sticky notes, so when I decorate my monthly spread I can write 'em in in the colors I want. Haven't considered using sticky notes as stickers, though, I'll have to try that! :) Thanks for a great vid.

Get a tombow non permanent tape runner! You can use it to add more stickiness to the back without making it permanent.

I know what u mean, me too. I have found that if u pull the sticky note from the end without sticky it will curl, and that makes it not want to stick good, but if u pull it from the side and try to keep it as flat as pissible when removing it, then it wont curl as much and there for stick better. Hope this made sense. LOL
