MB14's lovit was the round that made me want to see more loopstation track and battle. It amazed me, as a non beatboxer, to see how creative someone only with his voice can create something like studio version music.

MB14's Lovit cover is the thing that got me into loopstation. I had like, just gotten into watching beatboxing and what I saw of loopstation I thought was pretty lame (no idea what the two battles I watched were anymore). Then I watched the MB14 vs Saro battle and that round just like, cemented vocal looping as one of my favorite things. Even though Saro's rounds were legendary (and I really liked them too) every single time I came back to the video was for MB14. I don't think people give him enough credit for that video becoming such a hit/being one of the most legendary battles of all time, it wasn't just filler, then Saro, then filler, then some more Saro, it was two amazing musicians having a great time on stage together with some dope music. I really wish there were more loopers like him in the beatbox scene, though to be fair it's a pretty tall order to be like MB14.

Man... as much as I love the music that guys are creating now with 2nd devices... nothing gets me as hyped as watching these guys create everything by voice, and they actually have to have a more advanced vocal ability instead of just relying on auto tune and 2nd devices. There is something more magical about the days of NME, Tioneb, Mb14, saro, Thorsen...etc.. ..I mean at some point we need to remind ourselves that these events are for beatbox, and the loopstation techniques now are getting further and further away from beatbox

i think second device can stay but the judging is what needs changing, ie more points should be given to robin for using only voice layering to create chords instead of zhang ze button press for chords

First time I heard loopstation was when I came across MB14 vs Saro, and at that time it had about 30 million views so I clicked on it thinking it'd be good. And it completely got me into looping haha. Lovit and Oras are such masterpieces. They made me feel something that I had never felt before.

Interesting top 5. Good mix of different styles and genres in there which is great to see. My personal top five is : 1. Saro - Piege [GBB 2017 1/2 Final vs MB14] : forever a classic and probably one of the most famous loop rounds ever 2. Inkie - Keep It Strange [ GBB 2018 1/4 Final vs Beatness] : this just took everyone by surprise and I think the mere shock factor of it is what makes it even better 3. Penkyx - Habits (Stay High) [GBB 2015 1/4 Final vs Ibarra] : probably my favourite ever loop round till I heard Piege. To me, at one point, Penkyx was really ahead of the game in terms of his genre within the loop scene and was unlucky to not win GBB 2015 or be as successful in other competitions. 4. Rythmind - Drums [GBB 2019 1/2 Final vs So-So] : the sole reason I love this round is that whenever I hear the last drop, it just makes me want to bounce (that solid kick is DIRTY). The structure is brilliant in my opinion and is a great crowd pleaser. 5. Ibarra - 1st round [GBB 2016 1/4 Final vs Wawad] : Every single drop builds on the previous one and there are no dull moments. It's just pure electro and DnB. Honorable mentions: Hobbit - 2nd round [GBB 2014 1/2 Final vs Penkyx] MB14 - Dream on [GBB 2017 Small Final vs Penkyx]

Regardless of how long MB14’s build up was It still had that magical wow factor that I feel is rare for me nowadays. Yes we can do things much faster for workflow and etc but idk if it’s just me 😂 but I love how he builds it up and you hear the result forming as he goes . I Love Old school loops 😩👌🏽❤️

@BreZ i would love for u to maybe do a Video on looping Gear. like stuff u find to be Essential (mic's, Headphones, particular cords, extra devices for audio) stuff that is helpful and things for new loopers to avoid. i been looking at maybe ordering something for vocal EQ and like to add a bit more of an Auto Tune and Pitch Correct reverb that kinda stuff to accompany my MK2. as some one thats just starting and getting the MK2. were to begin on stuff for it be dope to know. when your not busy... i know GBB is approaching fast. and anyone that reads this. any suggestions be dope. i am a Noob so all the help appreciated. lol. also another question... is that link that leads to the MK2 in the description. is it an affiliate link (aka do u make money from us buying stuff if we use that link) if so i will use that. just was curious.
