Nice ride, i like the bars. I've been kicking around the idea of apes on the lowrider st.. never seen one with anything other than the moto style bars.

Is it the ”Killer Bill” handlebars ?… Cant find the ones you mention ?

I'm ordering the same bars for my LRS, can you post a video of the over all height, width ect...I want to see what size I'll need before spending $700
@lifewithmike1883Ай бұрын
Sure, I'll do that today along with a very inexpensive way to figure out what size you want

@lifewithmike1883 thank you, I've been wanting these bars, even before I got my LRS, but understanding i need to use 3" risers because of the bar thickness, I need to know how high they sit when it's all said and done. My stock set up are 4" risers, and to the top of the bars, I'm at 8"...I'm used to riding with 14" on 1" risers, over all 15"

Love the Killer Custom handlebars. I just picked up a Lowrider S a couple of weeks ago and thinking of changing the bars. Can you please tell me what risers you got? I want to lower the risers but want to make sure they fit on the stock gauge housing. Looks like that's what you have.

@@NitheshDhanashan they are drag specialties 3" buffalo Risers, they are 1 1/4" thick so they go better with the thicker bars

Is the heat deflector effective? Awesome mods, by the way!
@lifewithmike18832 ай бұрын
@@rexmabunga the biggest benefit to the heat deflectors for me is being a bigger guy when I'm stopped at a light my inner thigh has touched the top of the rear head. It does also work as it's supposed to, but it's the stopped with my feet down for me

Would you mind writing all the mods in the description? As a new rider trying to get my 2nd bike (maybe a Harley) - the terminology is still new to me and it is simple to just copy and paste the text into Google to find out what that item is. Thanks.

Did you have to extend cables and wires by going up 4 inches?
@lifewithmike1883Ай бұрын
@@bassmastabates9588 it is not a must-do, you can get away with stretching the cables, but they are really tight to me it just wasn't worth the risk

Great bike, I would've went with a different exhaust tho, it doesn't match the bike.

@@den_525 I agree, it was more of a great deal at the time, well under 900.

Don't get the breakout ... i have LRS ... My local HD lent me a breakout for the day (6 hours). By the end of it, i couldn't wait to get back on my LRS within 3 mins, and the first round about i knew it wasn't for me. The handing of the LRS is miles better ... them bars are totally CAF (cool as fuck)
