Thanks Doug. Enjoyed the list - and the Italianness. For me, I can't decide an order, but these are my five: CHEW the RPG The Last Caravan: A Cars & Aliens RPG Cowboy Bebop Outgunned The Revenant Society My honourable new editions of older games mentions go to Talislanta (the final edition); Blue Planet: Recontact (fingers crossed for 2024); and Slugblaster. I was tempted to include Bug Busters (Dieku Games) on my most anticipated list, but the KS hasn't launched yet! So that is probably over-excitable thinking.

The new game I’m most looking forward to is Rōnin, the samurai Mörk Borg hack. Just got the PDFs and it looks amazing! My most anticipated RPG products apart from new games though are three big third party releases for Dragonbane - Den brända jorden (sometime in Q1 hopefully), Windheim (in the summer), and the new Ereb Altor by the end of 2024…

Yes! Rōnin! We did a session on the show with he creators! I also got the pdfs and downloaded them but I have been so busy during the holidays to take a look. I'll have to take a moment and read through. It was a lot of fun when we played though.

Only interested in "The Assassin's Creed" ttrpg. I might want to look into "The Electric State." Dragonbane, definately Dragonbane 💚

Honorable mention: Assassin Creed, I’m curious but not curious enough for a pre-order. Outgunned is also on the might try list. Would be great if Helmgast finished translating Neotech Edge and released a new adventure for The Troubleshooters. :D 5: Whatever Dunderdagar puts out for Dragonbane next. 4: The next adventure for Blade Runner. 3: Complete re-prints for Star Wars and L5R. It feels like Edge Studios is on the chopping block, and I’d like to see their books in stores in full swing now when 5e has boosted the RPG player base. 2: Ereb Altor for Dragonbane. 1: Moria for The One Ring. None of these are full systems, so I’m cheating. But sometimes I don’t need a new system, just more for something I enjoy right now.

I am done with Kickstarter's and so forth, even with Big Companies, still waiting for Marlo's Mire (Follow Up from The Dark from Hot Springs Island), Dark Tower (OAR 7) from Goodman Games, and the 5th Edition Fantasy Anthologies from Goodman Games. While it may save you a few bucks, but maybe not when you factor shipping, you give them your money up front, wait forever for the product. If I am going to wait forever, I may as well as just wait for the release, and wait for a sale ...

Same with my copy! I tend to count the year based on the general release if there is one instead of the Kickstarter backer delivery. So Castaway would count for 2024 in my mind.

I guess the only game I am really looking forward is Outgunned. But I am also looking forward to anything that 2LM and Free League put out!

A solid list. Outgunned is definitely up there for me as well. Can't wait to get some crazy action sequences going on with that one. However, my most anticipated TTRPG has gotta be Monte Cook's The Magnus Archives. You play a member of an investigation team that is putting together various personal accounts of dark and bizarre happenings. The podcast is absolutely terrifying and just brilliantly written and performed. I'm not hearing a lot about it, so I think it's really going to take a lot of people by surprise.

Can't wait for the reprint of TMNT & Other Strangeness, I'm a huge TMNT fan and it was one of the first RPGs I played, unfortunately I missed out on the backing period due to financial reasons. Land of Eem looks good, I'm reading through the basic rules right now, definitely seems like a game I'll take a chance on.

These kind of themes have already been done before to great effect. Have you heard of the most excellent Summerland, by G Sauders? Seems it could kick #2s ass anytime. Also Feng Shui and Hollowpoint and even Wushu, which is, free, btw sound way better than #1, IMOHO.

I do have a copy in my library. I haven’t really gotten a chance to dive into it though. I did read the playtest and wasn’t really in love with the system but I know they did make some big revisions so I’ll have to take a look.
