I didn't even know the Retrospective deck existed before now. These are amazing! I just can't afford the special editions. One day.... And the Babylonian ones- I love vivid colours. Also the Tarot of transformation- lovely.

Are the illuminated tarot sticky? Was worried about gloss for shuffling

The Illuminated deck will feel completely unlike any other deck. It takes getting used too & different handling! The cards are much softer..the size is different..and they do tend to stick a bit ...all that said once I figured out how to adjust to handle them they’re always on target! I don’t find gloss or the appearance effect anything either. If anything the vibrant amazing color gives new energy to the cards! I loved this deck so much it’s not even often I use for reading with other people or on channel..it’s primarily my one on one deck. Plus feel a lot of creative energy in the deck..perhaps because the cards themselves are infused with Carols creativity in making them! Lol No matter which deck you get of hers I think they’re all so amazing different & creative and something extra to the usual decks you see or have! I really treasure this one..if you can’t tell from my rambling! Lol
