I keep going back and forth of The Gentle Tarot. I tend to “resist” the ones that are everywhere too, but I try to remind myself they are so popular because they are so good!

I know what you mean re popular decks but I finally bought the poker size linen finish edition of Gentle Tarot as a uk site was selling so I didn’t pay heavy shipping costs..and it’s like no other ( and I have lots of decks!!) Suffice to say I then did purchase rage full size guidebook as I loved it so much.

So glad to know I'm not alone hearing you talking about wanting "to go the other way" when everybody is all over a certain deck. I have always been like that with movies. To this day, have never watched the movie, Titanic. It is strange and I don't know many, if any, people who do that. Also, I'm with you on Pages, Knights, Queen and Kings for Courts.

My brain can never retain the renamed court cards so I always have to make little notes in my decks to help me make it make sense😅 thank you so much for watching !

Hi Marine, this is a wonderful list! I got the Mythos Tarot for my birthday in late April, and I love it so so much! Hmmm my top five so far include: Mouse Tarot, Oceanum Arcanae, Myths & Mermaids Oracle, Tarot of Vampyres, and the Wing, Hoof and Paw Oracle. It’s so difficult to make a list like this!

I'm wearing out the Practical Magic Starter Deck by Chinggay. I also purchased it from a Riffle in Time. It's such a fun vibe and really speaks to my love of 90s aesthetic (I was a teen in the 90s). I wasn't sure about the key words at first, since I do not need them to read, but I actually love them! They work well when reading for others. Definitely in my top 5 for 2024 so far!

My favorites so far are again my Cat Decks, especially the Mystical Cats Tarot and I’m waiting for my pre-order of Caticorn Tarot. On the Oracle side nothing stood out so far, a few good ones but no real favorite.

The only way I can manage to narrow it down to a top five is if I limit myself to decks that were published this year. I think Marea Tarot (did I waste one of my choices because I have to have a Thoth deck? 😅), Mirra Visions (shiny!), Medieval Feathers (best mass-market - love the Minchiate vibes), the Himavan Tarot (so stinking cute!) and the...Tarot of Echoes, I guess, but I can think of two more I like just as much 🤐
