Just got a 4runner and I am lucky enough to live in the beautiful state of Utah, looking forward to hitting some of these trails come summer!

Noted. I made this one with beginners in mind. I might have to rethink my strategy for the next one!

For Squaw Peak, are you talking about Kyhv road? If so, that can be done in a 2wd car if you have off-road driving experience.

I just did the trans continental railroad trail two weekends ago with a buddy and between our two trucks we got three flat tires. It was still amazing though!

My dad used to take me on skyline drive in some insane snowpack in his 1986 Suzuki samurai, thing was an absolute little champion. Sketchy sketchy times though.

Mona Pole Rd, near the Mona Gravel Pit, goes through the mountains till you end in the middle of Nebo Loop scenic byway. I rate this higher than squaw peak and Skyline Dr. I'd run it with you if you'd be interested

Thanks for the video. you mentioned a moderate clearance all wheel drive as a minimum for Squaw peak Rd (now called Kyhv peak rd, I think). Can you give me some examples of what YOU consider Moderate clearance, please?

Anything as high or taller than a crosstrek.

Great recommendations as always! Despite being a Utah native, the only of these that I’ve done is the Squaw Peak to Hobble Creek (although we drove it reverse). Geographically you just can’t beat Utah!

No. Because an overland vehicle is not an OHV. It is an on highway vehicle.
