Your roses are so healthy Claus, great selection. I love roses and my mother named me Rose so I have no excuse but to adore them. I I’ve in Australia and most new gardens just don’t grow them. Mine is full of roses . We have had an amazing reader in the early 20 century here called Alistair Clark, he breed for Australian conditions. One of his in my garden has just had a flush and it is June mid winter! Loving your video. Thank you

Hi Claus . Love the garden . David Austin roses that I have bought in the past , Teasing Georgia , gorgeous, so many flowers it needs support . Raoul Dahl , gorgeous again and both of these smell amazing. The .pilgrim is also wonderful. . Just bought one called Tottering-by-Gently. A yellow single flowering rose . And just to go mad .... Rambling Rector !
@ceciliaeastwood89473 жыл бұрын
Hi Maria, where are you located? I have just planted Teasing Georgia in East UK (sadly not much sun for it so far) but am hoping for lots of blooms in coming years as it grows. It has produced 5 so far in it’s first 3 months in the ground and still more buds coming. I would be interested to know your climate?
@mariapalmer56713 жыл бұрын
@@ceciliaeastwood8947 . I had this rose on the west coast of Scotland. So because of high winter winds I would thin out the crown to three or four main stems and keep it at 18 inches (45cms ) . However these roses are so prolific , it sometimes takes two to three years for them to get to their best. Keep picking for a vase in the house . And again sometimes they just keep going up to Xmas if you don’t get a frost to stop them . Feed in summer and I don’t like them flowering into November as they sort of wear themselves out .
