Definitely like magdrafts & citizens for sure. I have only have a couple glides, a Islide135 that's small & I've caught decent sized fish after I modified it to cut harder back/forth. Then I have the magnum shine glide, that I've fished alot & tired about everything but it just never swims well. I'm looking for new big glide to throw in 9-10". Everyone throws the deps 250 so rather find something little less common! Any suggestions

@crazybassfisher2 жыл бұрын
Tons of great options on the market from IRod, ST croix, Megabass, LDC rods, just depends on the price and wait time for what you’re looking for. A good rule of thum is go with an 8’ XH rod. For reels, either daiwa or shimano in a size 300 would be money. I tie a double uni knot for all my swimbaits and it never fails me!

I really want to love the K9 and I really do but I cannot get comfortable with the glide mode. I just need to stick a fish to gain some confidence in it
@crazybassfisher2 жыл бұрын
Are you having trouble because it’s so erratic? Or something else? It can be tricky at first to be in control of the bait. Once you get the cadence down, it becomes a lot easier to manipulate the bait
@gambit_fishing10132 жыл бұрын
@@crazybassfisher I think it’s getting the cadence down is what I’m struggling with. I’ve added some weight to the bait so it suspends and was liking that a lot more. I’m going to spend a lot more time with it next year to try and get it down. Just have to wait for the ice to melt 🤮

So is that why the older Hph models with the round connection joints and the 9inch go for so much? because It fishes way different than the newer model cause I had the newer model hph and it didn't like going fast really was more of slow smooth glide.
