For Leves, I do the WVR one in Old Sharlayan. The Scarlet Moko Beret of Gathering. It's only 3 mats, all are easy to farm or send retainers after. You get between 9-10k per HQ turn in. So far it's the most reliable one I found.

Hey, instead of Seal Sweetener II buff for a 10% seal increase, the Squadron reward tickets give a boost of 15%. Yes, it's more grind to get but once you unlock them it's basically free seals and you can get 10 tickets each week, with each ticket giving 2 hours of the buff. This also frees up your FC buffs for other things like Reduced Rates.

Me seeing that Leve method while also sitting on over 400 of those drinks because I batch made a ton for leveling all crafters to max back in endwalker and have been slowly using them up in DT now realizing I could make a cool almost 1m gil just turning them in for leves... Well don't mind if I do.

Hunt trains and S-ranks can pay really well, nuts to moonward rings to seals to materials to vendor, materia clusters, aesthetics to materials to market board, poetics to ore to soil to marketboard too

wouldn't it be better for GC seals to get hardened sap, Coke, or potash, as you get 3 for those 600 seals and as long as the MB jas them above 140gil youd make more than off the duck

In the long run it's not sustainable. Duck bones are instant gil no competition no hassle or taxes from the market board.

DuckBones are only worth more if Glamour Prisms are under 120g apiece on your server; On my server they average around 200g and sell at a decent clip, and are a better investment for your seals.

Prisms are already oversaturated and too much competition. Selling duck bones is instant and you can make more gil by the time you sell any prisms in my opinion.

Not sure why you use the Culinarian for mandates when the Alchemist can do Commanding Craftsman's Draught for the same reward. It uses 4 ingredients instead of 5. Afaik, none of them is time gated. All of them can be farmed with retainers. The only catch is that you would need 3 retainers to farm everything passively (miner, alchemist, combat). The Petalouda Scales are pretty smooth to farm manually with a combat job though. You need to hunt butterfly ennemis in Elpis. They are positioned in such a way that you just run in circles around a specific etheryte. The area is large enough that by the time you have done one turn, the first ennemies have always respawned.

1mil every 17 days feels incredibly low. Especially for the sheer amount of time and effort you also need to put in to gather, then craft and then hand in those leves. Chances are any moderately popular housing item is going to be a better time investment.

I honestly don't see the point in making gil, because almost anything you can buy off the marketboard, you can literally get for free by gathering/crafting it yourself, or doing the runs that exclusively have it. The only thing where you'd ever need a lot of gil for, is to get a house, but only once, or to get mounts if you got the collector's fever, or you're desperately trying to find something to do in FFXIV when the content has all but dried up. Gil is ultimately just to reconcile your desire for something and laziness, except for trying to get a house.

There are a few mounts that are pure gil farm such as gilded mounts and the bike in solution 9.

Some items such as the aidoneus minion are such a pain to get because of the rng of maps that you're more likely to get the 40+ mil they cost than actually see the minion drop. I know that all too well having spent months attempting to get it, so in the end I spent 2 months grinding the gil to buy it so I could have it in time to be a gift for a friend
