I've found much better value in Cunning IX than any of the XI's, since it's used in the 7.1 Teamcraft spec ... typically ranges between 10k and 15k on my server. (It wasn't in the 7.0 BiS so it wasn't selling unt 7.1, but now it's the final meld for a bunch of the left-hand gear.) It's also a better deal than the XI's, as it's 200 scrips for Grade IX vs 250 for Grade XI, so even when they're selling for the same amount it's actually 25% more value per scrip.

Oh yeah I've been selling the Rroneek steaks and they do seem to sell I try to go for HQ and do the same sell in small quantities that goes for anything really. I should go back tot he firmament and do some of those it is good gil making way since people dont want to do somethings to get the item!

I found the same thing, most players don't want to or can't pay a few hundred-thousand Gil for food and would rather do without. I find I can sell more at 10 to 30 as a group.

One side note about Rroneek steak is that crafting it can spawn the S rank in Heritage Found, so if your server has a pretty active set of spawners, the price may end up fairly low. Depending on how many are spawnable on a data center, I may craft 100 or 200 in a day in attempts, for example.

Do you generally farm your own materials or just buy them on the MB?

Yeah I gather and make everything myself. Occasionally I'll buy materia if I'm out or need more for melding.

@ZaneLionhartffxiv approximately how long would you say it takes you to gather everything. I've heard speculation that gathering everything isn't time effective to your profit ratio as just buying everything.

@Masirus82 I don't worry about the profit ratio, I take my time. I use my retainers for half of the gathering while I do other things.
