I love Letter Jam!!! A recent discovery for me is definitely Slay the Spire - it's just as addictive as the video game and it's so fun to play cooperatively! Kinfire Chronicles and Kinfire Delve have also been huge hits for us recently. As you can probably tell, we mostly play cooperative games 🙂

Fun list!! We have a bunch of games in common. I was interested in Terracotta Army but thought it didn't play well 2P (?) and I need that player count to work for all my owned games. I'll look at it again!

We’ve tried out a handful of these, but my favorite from the list has to be Grand Austria Hotel. Only had it for a few months but it’s so gooood! Sometimes the dice rolls can be very uncooperative though haha 😂

I appreciate the effort but tbh the video should be titled "My TOP 50 Board Games from the last few years". The list is okay-ish but apart from Grand Austra Hotel there's not one title older than 5 years. It is missing a lot of really excellent games from the last 20 years.

Top X lists are inherently subjective. It's Danny's top 50, not some objective "top 50 games of all time," which would be a misnomer anyway. The games he likes may not be the games you like, or maybe he hasn't played them! But in either case, the list is totally valid. The idea that someone needs to have a certain number of games from a certain time period on their list is absurd and just another form of gatekeeping. Ultimately, this is about sharing our enthusiasm for the hobby with others. You don't have to agree with someone's picks - just don't be a jerk.
