As a Canucks fan, Pettersson is sooooo overrated and JT is so underrated. Swap the 2 in this list. JT does everything for the team. Has such a bad rep for being bad defensively but he’s literally our top shutdown forward

Quinn Hughes lower than Adam Fox?? 🤔 Seems odd considering the criteria you’ve used to place Fox at 11. I would argue that putting Fox at 13 and pushing both of the Hughes brothers up to 11 & 12 makes more sense.

@@MikeBartner id argue hughes had a better season last year. Plus had the better rookie season. (both have played 5 seasons) and hughes had by far the best season out of both of there 5 year careers so far. Lets also not forget that while they have both played 5 seasons.. hughes is still younger.

I personally have Miller over Marner based on dog factor and physical play, I’m not debating or denying how skilled Marner is, I’d just be sick of his playoff antics and lack of physical play and avoiding contact in playoff.

I NEED to get this straight. Half way through the season u had Kaprizov out of the top 20 (which he never should have been) and now after a few months u have him jump 10 spots? And Nylander outplays an injured Marner for 1 year and that justifies him being over him? And Quinn Hughes, he outplays Marner for the first time ever and he’s suddenly 13 (!!) spots ahead of him after being 30+ spots BEHIND him less than a year ago?!?!? This seems like a ranking of how well these players HAVE recently been playing rather than an actual ranking of the best players in the league. You’re not being objective Mike. C’mon man. His recency bias with Marner is completely unjustifiable. Less than a year ago he had Marner and Barkov listed next to each other and now suddenly after less than a year Barkov has magically become so much better to the point that they’re going to be nearly 20 spots apart? I HATE recency bias. It’s such a disease among sports fans. People can’t help but be a prisoner of the moment. It’s too tempting.
