They all touched me but the one that ‘punched me in the gut’ was the Goodness of God. Knowing how much God has seen me through and continues to do so not based on anything that I have or haven’t done but just because He is faithful and loves me. Allen you have a God given talent. Jesus At the Center -Isreal and New Breed, this song is a classic that my mother played for me since I was 6 when it came out. It has really been the song of my heart and how I want to live my life. So good! I'm glad to see that he hasn't eliminated certain songs just because he may disagree with their church leaders and teaching. The truth is, these songs are still FULL of biblical truth. Phillipians 1 "Whether their motives are false or genuine, the message about Christ is being preached either way, so I rejoice."

@@beaberean3286 Im gonna have to disagree with brother Allen on some of these, mainly the Elevation and Bethel songs. They come from false churches leading people astray, I dont care how biblically sound the song is. They still get paid to play that music in churches. And they shouldn't get a dime what they teach is worse than what Hitler did. Let me put it in another perspective for you, imagine if planned parenthood created gospel music that was so biblically accurate we would basically consider it perfect. Would you still listen to it or stay in a church that used that song knowing that your church is now supporting Planned Parenthood financially by playing that music? I don't think if you are a Christian you would.

Just a thought....it could be the people playing the song. I find if the people leading aren't tuned in to the holy spirit and worshipping themselves, the song doesn't make much difference. I've experienced both instances. If you play music try making the songs your own and sing or play it for God alone. You might connect with a few songs that way.

This is hard to choose. I love each one! If I’m forced I’ll pick Goodness Of God. I remember the first time I heard it…I just stopped and worshipped. I sang it loudly in my car on the way to work. I sang it loudly at church…and do not sing well. But it is joy to my Father and that’s my focus. And then Worthy and then Firm Foundation. I love almost all of them, they are beautiful songs. There is 1, however, that I did not know and that is Maranatha. Some of my favourite songs in general are songs where we come before God, just to give Him back the praise, just to worship Him and pour our hearts out to Him, simply because He is God. All of the picks are lyrically solid worship songs. Agree with your top choice. It's nice to cut out all the ear candy and just hear the lyrics and melodies through your voice and the keys. When the worship team performs some of these same songs in church, the drumming, guitars, and just plain loudness can be overwhelming. Sometimes all you need is a piano and a reverent voice inspired to worship!

in my younger days was worship leader before Bible studies and Sell Groups in people's homes, it's 68 I can't hardly played guitar anymore but I know what it means to get it down in your heart and your soul unto the Lord so deep it never goes away I'm the same way. Idk what to do, where to go, who to beg. My pappa run out of meds and we barely have any to eat. We have overdue bills and unpaid debt from last year.
