I am currently struggling with lust my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ via corn.. Sometimes I do good without a few days but then fall right back in. Please pray for me as I struggle with this terrible sin, that the Lord and our Heavenly Father will deliver me from this sin, I can feel the disappointment from Heaven itself.

Just remember that Jesus died for those sins already. Don't wallow in guilt, but move on into freedom. Make note of where you are tempted and stay away from those situations as much as possible and keep in the Word man. Also, have someone that can call you out that you can talk to. Not to commiserate, but to build you up and strengthen your spiritual defenses.

We can pray for you but the best has to come from YOU and you only. Don't give up. As someone who battles those thoughts, I can tell you that it becomes easier with time. At some point you will reach a level at which those thoughts will only overtake you when you let them. That's where I am right now and it's constant battle in my mind but it's definitely easier. I went from having physical pain from stopping to actually being motivated to pray whenever I feel in danger. In conclusion, keep going and don't let guilt eat away at you. The more you come to the Holy Father, the stronger his infmuence on you will be. Best wishes to you and may the Holiness of God overtake your temptations and destroy them Amen.

lust has gotten me into some terrible situations. Lessons that I will never forget. after my first breakup, i fell deeper than i ever have before. i’m embarrassed of my past. i’ve been scammed because of lust. i was a fool. with the help of God’s grace and power, i’ve been able to destroy the scamming relationship that hindered my life for a year. Now, i start my journey to becoming completely pure sexually. I know it’s going to be a tough battle. I’ll go through withdrawals like I used to. However, i know that I can all things through Christ, and I will become sexually pure.

God delivered me from a very similar situation. I know how you feel. In my situation, I had to confess all my sin to my wife and my pastor. Since then I've had an accountability partner and I have gone for regular biblical counseling. There is hope

A family member just got sentenced to 9 years in prison for downloading illegal content. It was clearly an addiction that he lost control of. He realizes and has repented and is on a new journey. If he could, he would beg all of you….don’t look at it! He has lost everything including a beautiful family. He hopes to help others with this issue ..especially the one no one can admit or talk about. He never in a million years thought he’d end up in this situation. And kudos to the people who minister in prison.

Praise God. Idk if anyone will read this but personally declaring to God that I’m committed to fleeing from all lust in my life really helped me. I struggled for a long time and this finally made me feel free. Any time i think about anything lustful I immediately run to God in prayer, confess my sins and ask for God’s protection. God has really blessed me and I am so thankful to Him.

I have my own specific prayer that I pray 4-5 times a day that no thoughts of sexual fantasies or pornography will enter my mind or heart. I ask the Holy Spirit for strength, wisdom, guidance and direction in this problem area of lust in my life and to refill my mind and heart with the Holy Spirit. it's been very effective, and the more I say the prayer the more strength I get from the Holy Spirit. I knew God was telling me to stop watching the movies, listening to the music promoting sexual promiscuity and come off social media that encouraged sensuality. 4 years later I feel free and when the devil attacks I run to God in prayer and think on scripture and marvel at his being. I just need to stop watching and listening to all things because I can't focus on God and what he wants for my life. Another helpful tool is to give yourself a mental "high five" every time you say no to temptation. It will reward your brain and train your brain that saying no is rewarding. Turning from the temptation and not allowing it to stick around will give you a much better chance to say no to the temptation

For me, what really helped was realizing how connected the industry is to things like human trafficking and exploitation. One of the things I have done to to have self control with my temptation. When I catch myself in temptation. I got straight to God's word and I pray. I got rid of all social media and even stopped listening to music in my car so that I can corner my mind to see Christ as my answer and nothing else. It is not easy but it is true. Thank you LORD.

Same with drugs/alcohol. I don’t think about it at all. There’s zero temptation there. My husband and I are blessed to be of an age that we literally cut internet out of our lives for over 10 years (didn't get it again until the dumpster fire of 2020). I give it to God and I let him help me. I have never been married and I asked him to help with my heart So far so good. I don't struggle with it anymore. Of course some days are hard and others are not. I just give God my struggle and weakness and let him keep me safe. I don't have a girlfriend or lust after women anymore. I replaced it with the Bible. Very good video.

It can be hard(er) for the married as well! SOmetimes your mate stops or does not want intimacy when you do, sometimes your drive increases and theirs does not, and also the temptation does not go away just because you are married. Placing your faith in God, keeping your own integrity, and the love of your spouse, also will help stop lusting in marriage.

The devil hates marriage, for it is a picture of Christ and the church and it is God ordained. He will do whatever he can to destroy a marriage. I can safely say marriage doesn't make anything easier in regard to avoiding lusts. "Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh." Gal 5:16

I struggle as I am currently in a sexless marriage and my wife has kind of backed away she now sleeps in our other bedroom and stopped using our master bathroom. I am in counseling but currently been unemployed since December. It’s been 4 yrs since my wife decided to stop being intimate. I believe there was some trama from her past with her stepdad, not sure. She says she is not interested in sex anymore and I am trying to honor my wedding vowels. But I have slipped into using porn. I bought covenant eyes but don’t have an accountability partner and I am struggling in all areas. I guess I am sharing and asking for prayers. 😔

Yep, a lack of intimacy in marriage is tough and I think many men suffer in that area(me included), not sure what the answer is, I personally struggle to talk about that stuff with my wife.

Lusting over other women(whether I was in a relationship already or while married now) has been the largest obstacle impeding absolutely any growth. I was introduced to it around age 12 and at 40, i STILL can't stop. I think deep down, my flesh either believes I can't truly be restored OR my flesh wants to have the proverbial "one foot in the World."

Im ashamed to say, i contracted an STI last year, still suffering now..medication & doctors cant help...believe me iv tried everything, its spiritual appearing as physical, i believe il continue to suffer until i actually change, i fall short sometimes, i still keep trying my best..I dont blame the lord for using his rod of correction to punish me to get me back into line with his will.

I haven't finished the video yet but what really helped me cut the compulsion was fasting and fasting. It wasn't even a true fast - I only ate dinner for a week. It broke me out of my lust rhythm and I gained clarity and control which freed me.
