I love hydrating toners/essences (no cotton pads for me, just pat it on). I usually use 2-3 layers morning and night and keep at least 3 going simultaneously. My current favorites are Pyunkang Yul essence, Isntree green tea, and TIAM B5 toner. I almost always have a bottle of Hada Labo Gyukujyn lotion for doing 7 skins or a diy sheet mask when I feel like I need it. I rarely switch around my serums and actives. I find what works and stay with it but my hydrating toners are where I “play” with my skincare, try out new things and use them in a variety of ways. I try to stick to really economical options though. I haven’t tried the Im from rice toner.

I never use a cotton pad, I want all the goodness on my face. I'm really liking the TIAM Vita B5 Toner and my favorite of all time is the Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence. I liked the Neogen, but a little expensive, so now I'm trying the Secret Key starting treatment essence. 💖💖💖

I see a bunch of my favorites here, too 😍 Love the BOJ Ginseng Essence Water, the Klairs Supple Preparation Toner (Unscented) & the CosRx Propolis Toner. I liked the I’m From Rice Toner, as well, in the winter. I wanted to love the Isntree Green Tea toner but it dried out my skin so I tried the Benton Deep Green Tea toner & that worked much better for me. I also really love the CosTx Pure Fit Cica toner, too.

Yes! ❤️ I’m From ❤️. Their rice toner is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about it. Their mugwort line was the first couple of products I tried from them (their moisturizer and essence/toner), and I loved them as well, especially to soothe irritated or sensitized skin. That rice toner, though, SOOOO hydrating! Whatever wishtrend (the owners of I’m From) is doing with the formulation, they’re doing it right. I’ve noticed that it helps my skin overall, not just with hydration.

Hi Sarah I have very dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin so I love toners/essences. My favourites are: The laneige cream skin refiner - so moisturising on my dry skin and I layer it up in the cold weather. The cosrx propolis toner is super hydrating and I love it under the laneige for a shot of deep hydration for my thirsty skin. The cosrx cica toner is really soothing on my rosacea, but it's really watery and needs to be used under something richer/thicker for me. I kind of use it like a first essence and it works great for me used in that way. Those are my top 3, but I also love the dear, klairs mentioned, the T'iam vita B5 toner, the sukoyaka suhada urea lotion and some others. I always layer toners and essences with the different textures used for different reasons. I'm currently using the cosrx cica and laneige over the LRP mineral water as I like a spray/mist in warmer weather. Best wishes.

I adore the IF Rice toner & BOJ Ginseng essence, but I'm a little shocked that the Bonajour Green Tea Water Bomb toner didn't make the cut. I bought it based on her review & I really enjoy it!

For me, my favorite that I miss when I’m not using it and I can’t go long without is the Make Prem safe me toner. I absolutely love it. Wish it made this list but we all have our favorites! I’ve never tried the I’m From rice toner or the Beauty of Joseon ginseng essence. I would like to try those. My runners up are Keep Cool bamboo toner and Cosrx cica toner. Love those also. Besides their Rice Toner, I’m From’s Mugwort essence is really good too! It calms and soothes skin (at least it did for me). Same with the mugwort cream (though, the jar is pretty small).

@@elizabethonstage It’s more calming/soothing to me than anything else, I found. Though it certainly provides some hydrarion too. It’s just the calming & soothing is what are the key features. I usually used the mugwort stuff the day after a retinol/tret day (When I was using it, I was still on retinol and hadn’t made the tret jump quite yet), but I’d assume it would be good on the same day to lessen the chances of irritation.

Love isntree's green tea and beauty of Joseon foam toner the old one. I am a toner junkie so I like layering them... haruharu both the scented and unscented, B.LAB toner, One Thing-Artemisia... Cosrx propolis synergy toner is probably my favorite. But I also love the tiam vita b5 toner, and cerave hydrating toner (not cruelty free though) . After this im definitely trying the I'm from Rice toner!! I've been super curious just haven't tried that one yet (need to finish another first) thanks again! (Love your taste on skincare 😂😊)

Iconic list! I separate my favs in two categories: hydrating no nonsense toners and fancy toners/essences/high content liquid products. My favorite plain toner of all time right now is the round lab dokdo toner (i recently got their mugwort toner which i see you showed the camera briefly at the beginning, i didn't realize they reformulated it and put sage oil in it, i was so excited!) I also have been enjoying the make prem safe me relief toner as well. My favorite fancy toners/essneces are of course the isntree green tea fresh toner, isntree's clear skin bha toner, im from rice toner and the old formulation of the primera miracle seed essence!

I love toners/essences. My favs have been missha artemisia, vegan kombucha, and keep cool and soothe. I have not found replacement for the keep cool. I remember they were not very cool over sunscreen debacle. The missha is only one I’ve tried that felt immediately soothing.

The only fragrance free toner I have tried recently is Body Shop Soothing Aloe Toner. It's soooo basic but it does a surprisingly good job at soothing the skin. But with what Body Shop is going through and my skin reacting to their almond milk body butter I have been avoiding the brand. As of now my ultimate favorite toner is Nature Republic Green Derma Mild Toner. Not fragrance free but feels soo nice and soothing. Visibly helps redness too. I adore using it with Bepanthen cream.

Top three of toners for my super sensitive skin: Missha Artemisia essence, Cosrx Propolis toner (my recent discovery, soo good) and Laneige Cream Skin. Unfortunatelly most of toners I try irritate my skin/break me out, like I'm From Rice toner or Isntree Green Tea Toner or BoJ Ginseng Toner - all of them are not for me and I have to use them on my neck :/

For dry skin the best toner that I have ever found is by glow Oasis and it's their milk toner. I absolutely love the brand to be honest everything I have tried has been amazing and I am very hard to please. I'm currently using the 111 skin toner and glow recipe watermelon.

I think my favorite toner is the Sukiyaki Suhada Urea Moisture Lotion. Maybe it is an essence but it is light and super hydrating and healing, no fragrance. I am now using the Haru Haru which I love as well. The scented one! Smells like sushi (ginger not fish:).

No Missha First Treatment?....I'll have to get over that. Based on your list I may buy the I'm From Rice Toner when I finish with my current products. I'd love another product to layer moisture, but cannot allow myself to buy anything since I bought The Ordinarys, Amino Acids +B5 toner, also the Marine Hyaluronics serum. So I tell myself to use those first, for moisture....I'll force myself to not buy anything new, although Celimax The Real Noni Energy Ampoule or the Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum also the Avene Hydrance Intense Rehydrating Serum are very tempting.

I have a tendency to begin too many things at once, then not know what is making the difference. I think snail mucin is next...

I think neogen has a real fit toner it's not the essence it's not frangerance free and I think may have essential oils in it , it's not the same as the essence different ingredients just like the skinfood proplis they have a toner but it's like the put off ingredients in it that isn't wonderful. Have u tried the Thank you Farmer rice toner I really like it , I'm using that the RNW renew essence the cosrx propolis toner have been using to, feel so good feel so calm toner pads love them of course Dr Cereacul kombucha essence see idk whether to put toner and essence in the same catagorie . I have Klairs sup prep omg I used it 2 times bought a mini like it so I was like gonna buy full size never use it also same with Tiam B5 love it but reach for others same with the peptide toner from what's the cheaper brand I keep for getting cas de baha ,I been using langiege cream skin too. I want to try Bonojour propolis and green tea toner the goodal rice the Make essence and this other brand that makes an oat milk PHA serum I think u know but they have a toner it like mushroom ginsing and stuff they have a weird name . U need to do a top exfoliating toner edition too. Idk why but I love me some toner and essence I saw the Augustine Bader one 99$ and was like holy shit that looks small for the price. Idk their is so much I want to try. I wanted to try the good light brand but I think their toner has an oil in it I'm allergic to buy they have a serum I really want heard the face wash was really nice too.

I’m From rice toner was a let down for me... Funny how people can have totally opposite opinions on certain products. I know I might be among the extreme minority not liking this product. I used it when I had irritated skin and I felt it stung my skin and eyes if I applied too much. Maybe I was sensitive or allergic to one of the ingredients but couldn’t pinpoint which one exactly.

You could have had a compromised barrier. When mine was compromised from all the actives I was using, it slightly stung as well. I waited until it was healed up a bit more to use it.
