Woohoo! I needed this video! So facetheory has a 15% azelaic acid serum it’s white and kinda milky. I ordered it off facetheory UK website and had to pay shipping which ended up costing me about 34$ usd and they shipped it to me within like 5 days I had it from the UK to Kansas and I use it quite often. It comes in a nice pump glass bottle as well. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone wanting the rx strength but not having access. I love it

Trying to pick one per broad category, my 5 game changers are Elemis Cleansing Balm, Curology (tret, nia, tranzemic acid), Biossance Omega Repair Cream, CosRX Snail Mucin Essence, and Isntree Watery Sun Gel.

Hi , I was wondering do you use the Elemis cleansing balm alone or with a sec cleanser? My skin is so unpredictable and I’m trying to find what is better. I only wear mineral sunscreen , no make up. Does just an oil cleanser or balm suitable for cleaning your skin w/o a second one? Or does the Elemis balm good enough on its own? Btw we have the same picks minus the sunscreen😊
@onednp

@@kimberlywilson8650 I use as part of a double cleanse (I wear makeup), but it can work as a single one, especially if you have dryness. Also, I don’t use the Isntree as much anymore, but it was my first KBeauty sunscreen and I went down the rabbit hole after that!

The Ordinary 7% Glycolic Acid/AHA Toner. I use it as an AHA serum, and it’s worked wonderfully, replacing my other AHA products by Paula’s Choice and Alpha Skin and Drunk Elephant. Costs $12 for 8 oz., which lasts me for 6-9 months-best deal around for skin care! Wonderful AHA product and a game changer for me!

has anybody tried the ordinary’s hair serum on their eyebrows for growth and/or fullness? i’ve been trying to decide between that and their lash serum, but the ingredients are similar and the hair serum is bigger and better for the price if it works for the eyebrows too.

I have been using the hair serum on my brows for about 5 months now and I do believe it is working!! I had been using some expensive brow serum prior to using the TO serum and my brows have remained just as full so I'm just going to keep using it! I apply with a q tip at night.

Hi Sarah the two main game changers for me are prescription azelaic acid and a retinoid - they have made the most difference to my skin overall. I'll always have both in my routine, although the frequency goes up and down depending on how my rosacea and eczema prone skin is behaving. Other than that a few HG products are: Bioderma sensibio misceller water - this just works better for me than any of the others I've tried and is gentle enough to use on my eyes, despite the rosacea issues I have in that area. Paula's choice clinical ultra dry moisturiser (in the purple tube) - this is my HG day time moisturiser and keeps my face soft and comfortable all day, without being greasy and causing my spf not to settle properly or form the film needed. It sinks into my skin and leaves no greasy residue on the surface, yet unlike pretty much every other moisturiser actually keeps my skin comfortable all day long. For Winter in particular it is a must have for me, but I have extremely dry skin. At night I use something heavier and I don't mind if it is a bit greasier, as I won't be applying spf and makeup on top. Ultrasun was a game changer product and I used it consistently every Summer for quite a few years. Unfortunately when I developed rosacea my face won't tolerate it on a daily basis, but I can use it on a more sporadic basis and reserve it for the days I need the excellent protection it provides. I use mineral spf on the other days where I only have incidental sun exposure. There are others, but these are my top picks. Best wishes. ps I've had my Foreo for about 4 years and it's still working fine. I don't use it everyday and only use it about once or twice a week for a deeper clean, but I haven't had any issues with it (the White ultrasensitive version with no nubs). I bought mine in TK Maxx when they were releasing an updated version and paid under £70 for it (about half the price it had been back then). x

This is easy! I have so many gems: Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant body spray (I use it on body & face, amazing product, makes my skin look less textured & splotchy & clears congestion), Adapalene Gel (Makes my skin look way less textured and spotty, and controls my acne), Vanicream Light lotion (must have no frills night moisturizer. Doesn't irritate my skin or eyes even when I overuse exfoliants. Have bought it for years), Hada Labo Gokujyon Cleansing Oil (its perfect, and its also low priced). Makeup wise my Viseart Neutral Mattes 01 palette has been an absolute work horse (I use it for eyes, brows and to contour & highlight the face), Revlon Colorstay lipliners (I have every color. They are the most longwearing Ive tried at any pricepoint, that simultaneously don't break me out. I set it with powder before lipstick just fyi), Too Faced Peach Perfect powder (fantastic to set under the eyes because it takes very little to actually set the area, also for the t zone it has great oil control, refines skin texture), Kryolan Dermacolor Camoflauge cream (I use this after applying liquid concealer, in a lighter color, to flatten out /cover the tear troughs aka the socket lines. I apply it with E47 brush very precisely along them. Its full coverage, nothing else works like this for me). Also the Fiona Styles contour powder trios (perfect contouring colors, no breakouts, undetectable, long wearing. I have issues finding bronzers and contour products that dont break me out so this is special). That a lot so ill stop there! Exited to read other's HG products.

My top skincare I’ve noticed working well is Volition mushroom or The Ordinary buffet. As much as I think it is the Buffet serum it could be the mushroom serum as when I used it couple years ago before buffet my friends noticed a change and 1 even went and bought. I have a backup to use either with next serum if I can or alone shortly as my buffet is almost out. Also I think moisturizer, any one that works for my sensitive mature skin I think has helped me lots in past couple years as a whole! I was so basic before… bar soap, body wash, and sometimes even used bar soap on face. 🙈🤦‍♀️. I’ve come far, even use Differin! 👏 😁

I’m glad I listened to you and gave Cosrx’s snail mucin cream a second chance because it’s one of my fave skincare purchases of all time too! The others are probably their snail mucin essence, my retin-a tretinoin, Aveeno’s Calm + Restore oat gel moisturizer (it is one of the most calming and soothing things for me when my skin freaks out), PC’s 2% bha exfoliant because it helped a lot with breakouts and clogged pores. Gosh, I can’t think of anything else off the top of my head, but I’m sure I’ll remember randomly. Also, that skinfix reminds me that I need to go look for the skinfix products I have stored away somewhere. I’m pretty sure they’re expired (they’re in the old packaging). I got them for when my nephew came to visit since they’re one of the only brands that helped his eczema.

I got a dupe for Foreo and forgot I had it. Why spend the big bucks? Two creams I’ve recently tried - Kopari coconut water cream, and Acure Seriously Soothing day cream- non SPF - they are heavier but sink in when you’re yucky dry (I usually stick with Cerave, Cetaphil and Vanicream) and the coconut scent doesn’t bother my sensitive acne prone skin. @@NOBSBeauty Could be 😁 they really do their research properly and I have used it on other body parts - they prep the skin for the rest of the routine. Maybe you could check out their discounts - I do that regularly, I mean, we should use a better deal, right? Thanks for taking your time to write

I was wondering if the Cosrx Snail Mucin Cream could be transferred into an airless jar? I have the cream but haven’t tried it yet. I’m not sure if the sliminess would be an issue for transferring it. 🤔
@NOBSBeauty
@NOBSBeauty 2 жыл бұрын
It is a bit thick for an airless jar, but I have done it that way and it works, although it might be easier if you transfer it into one of the silicone tubes- it is easier to squeeze out that way,

I got a Foreo Luna 3 a few weeks ago when it was like 50% off during the two day Prime Day event on Amazon, and I looovveee it! I hope it doesn't die anytime soon. And YAS, Altreno. I've been on it for a few months now, and I am up to 6x a week. I will never try generic tretinoin, Altreno is the best formulation with tretinoin that exists.

So happy to hear you also had good luck with Altreno- after trying other versions of tret, I cannot ever see myself going back to those now that I have experience with Altreno! So wonderful and non-drying!!

@@NOBSBeauty It kind of feels like it's almost a moisturizer itself. Obviously, I still apply a moisturizer, but I wait like 30 minutes after putting on my Altreno and my face feels plump and soft before I do.

It made me 😡 when drunk elephant sold you the thick, oxidized vitamin c. Then so many people were loving Osmosis c-11 DNA repair serum that I bought it. 140.00 and guess what? Thick, gloppy, oxidized vitamin c in it!! Do I have to throw it out? Help!

I have a few game changers that I’ve repurchased many times and I’ll continue to repurchase bc I just love the product or mmkksaà wer tryt trytyy i love the results I get from the product! First one is The Ordinary’s 7% glycolic acid toning solution.. When I started getting into skincare two heats ago, this was one of the first products I purchased and used and man the results this toner gives are amazing! My skin texture is so smooth and it’s made my skin so bright and glowy liking its sooo good. Glycolic acid is my favorite skincare ingredient because of this product! My second and third favorites are the Biossance omega repair cream and the Versed Skin Soak moisturizer … both of these moisturizers are holy grails for me they hydrate my skin so nicely I love them both so much! I also really enjoy Altreno as well it made my skin peel snd made it red and irritated at first but now my skin is used to it, if I wouldn’t have started with retinol first before moving up to the tretinoin the irritation would’ve been sooo much worse so yeah don’t jump into tretinoin without first using retinol for a few months so your skin gets used to retinoids.

You listed so many good products in this video Sarah!
