Try this! Make sure nothing can run into the cylinder and spray a rust buster on top of the injector. Use the whole can if you must. Let set 12 hours and clean up all the spray. Use a LP torch or a welder to heat the area around the injector really hot!! Keep the injector as cool as possible. This should expand the block and give more clearance. You may want to do one at a time so they don’t cool off DO NOT TORCH THE RUST SPRAY! Most times heat will get something stuck loose!! Hope it works!!😊

Yep, freeze em and they dropped right in then when the parts warmed back up the only way you are going to get them out is with a press. The pins for the booms? I get that the RR has more of a luxurious feel but that means nothing if it's broken down or breaking down all of the time. It’s a brave man that tackles ageing JLR products. They’re generally fine for Mr Executive who runs one for 5 years absolutely maximum but by the time the prices are one Mr Average can afford then trouble is on the horizon. Slide hammer removal looks absolutely garbage. Someone needs to design a pneumatic or hydraulic puller, not that you should have to be pulling these injectors at all. If it were an old MB diesel you wouldn’t have these issues. Different animal I appreciate but I do have to question some of the engineering and build quality on JLR products.
