Ijeoma, I do not know you - but I think you should ask your dad right away why your name is lexically different from your siblings'. The poor man probably had the best of intentions but is unaware that his daughter is suffering emotionally for nothing. Having said that, here are a few things that came to my mind. Were you born outside of your father's hometown? If so, it explains your name. It means that his sojourn has been a good one and he tells that story by your name. You are indeed special. You explanations are too literal and makes no sense in the context in which such names are given. Ijeoma (Safe journey), is actually, a wish or a hope that the child's journey in life will be safe or good. The same goes for Uzoma which is a prayer that the child's path in life will be smooth. Uli is camwood. Which is used for body tattoo in the ancient times, so, a symbol of beauty. Ulimma will therefore, be beautiful patterns also in reference either the child's beauty or a prayer that the pattern of the child's life will be beautiful.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. If you listen carefully I did mention Ijeoma is a good journey through life i.e when the mother is given birth. Perhaps you didn't pay attention? However point taken for Ulimma but the rest were not literal translations as you say.
