Since ps1 era I buy games a generation or two older in bulk. Its not as easy now. But I use to spend tins at eb games for ps1, ps2 and xbox. At one point was 3 for 1. I have almost doubled my investment each time. Great video btw

Great video! Specialization is a great advice! I started looking into different areas until I ended up specializing in Pokemon .. I have been doing that for years now ...there is so much movement in that alone that I am unable to go to other markets yet! Would love to hear your take on modern collectibles involving sneakers, designer clothes and overall “hypebeast culture” that includes art from KAWS, Murakami, etc. There is a huge auction on Sotheby’s right now titled Modern Collectibles that features all the top “grail” items in this category that I find very interesting.

You have opened my eyes and have given me a new focus. I really appreciate you and all your videos. Could you do some videos on how to invest in the stock market as I have recently purchased a lot of amiibo's and Nintendo collectors packs after investing in dreamcast games and I may have paid too much. I wanted to flip them and get a least my money back with a little bit on top. But when I sell them I need to know where to put my money. Cash spent on these item total approximately £2500.I live in England, would the stock market be the same to get nearly 7% return? Also would one stock of £2500 or 5 stocks of £500 be best.

What do you think of modern release sealed pokemon booster boxes? Will they have the same appreciation with the vintage? As most people wont have the means to access to vintage products as the price are sky rocket high. Hmm, my mindset is.. If I want it I buy it. But before buying I check prices so I dont overpay. And then I evaluate how much Im willing to give for the item. After that I try and buy the item with some more items to flip, hopefully paying for the item I want myself. That is the way I have gotten most of my video game collection.

I'm kind of confused on how pop culture collectable markets are in linear markets. You said that the coins, currency, collectable 1st edition books, etc are cyclical, but how are markets like Pokémon linear? Doesn't the market go up and down overtime? Linear would imply that it goes in a straight line upwards.

@@ReservedInvestments could you please do a little bit more research on the topic and make a video? i had to get rid of my Disney genre because it was taking up to much space. as a result, ive had a little bit of success locally getting rid of them. they sell well above pop price guide (ppg) values. you've got the resources and the reach to see where the bigger market is. it's a bigger niche than video game collectors, I'm positive of that.
