Since ps1 era I buy games a generation or two older in bulk. Its not as easy now. But I use to spend tins at eb games for ps1, ps2 and xbox. At one point was 3 for 1. I have almost doubled my investment each time. Great video btw

@Canadian Circuits sealed or open games ? I buy mostly the old games too but can flip nearer games so I buy three sell two and get mine for free and make a profit usually

Great video! Specialization is a great advice! I started looking into different areas until I ended up specializing in Pokemon .. I have been doing that for years now ...there is so much movement in that alone that I am unable to go to other markets yet! Could you do some videos on how to invest in the stock market as I have recently purchased a lot of amiibo's and Nintendo collectors packs after investing in dreamcast games and I may have paid too much. I wanted to flip them and get a least my money back with a little bit on top. But when I sell them I need to know where to put my money. Cash spent on these item total approximately £2500.I live in England, would the stock market be the same to get nearly 7% return? Also would one stock of £2500 or 5 stocks of £500 be best.

I'm kind of confused on how pop culture collectable markets are in linear markets. You said that the coins, currency, collectable 1st edition books, etc are cyclical, but how are markets like Pokémon linear? Doesn't the market go up and down overtime? Linear would imply that it goes in a straight line upwards.

@@ReservedInvestments could you please do a little bit more research on the topic and make a video? i had to get rid of my Disney genre because it was taking up to much space. as a result, ive had a little bit of success locally getting rid of them. they sell well above pop price guide (ppg) values. you've got the resources and the reach to see where the bigger market is. it's a bigger niche than video game collectors, I'm positive of that.

Hmm, my mindset is.. If I want it I buy it. But before buying I check prices so I dont overpay. And then I evaluate how much Im willing to give for the item. After that I try and buy the item with some more items to flip, hopefully paying for the item I want myself. That is the way I have gotten most of my video game collection.
