Do you still get long pauses as it streams in new tiles. I found this impossible to deal with as I fly online in Vatsim. The long pauses would result in me being disconnected from the network.

@@wycliffeb Hi thanks for your comment, I haven’t noticed any long pauses when flying, I guess it depends on the speed of your broadband connection. I’m getting 50+ Mb/s download. Thanks for watching 😎✈️

@@wycliffeb That’s a great speed so must be something else, I don’t do much flying online now! What version are you using? V0.7.1 should give better download speed of the tiles.

Hey, I recently got auto ortho 7.2.0 and my auto ortho in airports is 2d, is the any way of making it 3D?

Hi, check the listing in your scenery_packs.ini file. Also make sure you have the correct libraries installed ✈️😎

I just installed the latest 7.2, and it looks good and works but I have a rendering issue where it doesn’t fully render with distance. Only in the area where my plane is, but if you look at mountains for away they are default green (unless I zoom into them). Anyone else have this issue or know a fix?

Changing from Doken to WinFSP resolved the error messages when starting XPlane 12 for me (and I have the Steam version of XPlane)

Thanks for your videos, running xp12 without any other stuff but auto ortho, asian airports like in malaysia and vietnam has trees on runways and ramps how to fix this thanks!

@@FlySim24 Sure one was WBGG start of rwy 25, wbkk rwy 02 and the other one was in dananag in vietnam most of the ramp was cover with trees, how do you disable the overlay say just for Asia if i decide to fly there? so far usa, and europe haven't found this issues cheers!

To disable the Overlay, replace the overlay line in Scenery_packs.ini file with this, (you can use Notepad) SCENERY_PACK_DISABLED Custom Scenery/yAutoOrtho_Overlays/ If you are not sure how to do this come on my Discord and send me the file and I will edit it and sent it back to you.

do you know how many files there are? i have tried installing it on numerous occasions but everytime it gets to the 15th file it just says "DONE downloading EU autortho 15" < whatever it says with 15, this has lead me to believe there are 15 but when i launch up Autoortho it just says "COULDNT LOAD AUTOORTHO NOT FULLY INSTALLED"

Hi, there are 15 files but when downloaded it then needs to process the files and that take a long time. If you see “Done” at the bottom of the main screen then that’s when it has finished installing ✈️😎

XP11 user, I get no building from the default scenery. Is that mean I have to use simheaven or other to make my building come back? I got the airport but nos cities.

It sounds like a problem with the order of airports, libraries and authos in the scenery_packs.ini file. Check my video and see the order of my file. Hope this helps ✈️😎

Hi, v0.7.1 is much better but you will need to do a fresh install if you’re on v.4 ✈️😎

My issue is that I use both XP11 and XP12, so it's impossible for AO to work in both as it uses same config file and cache directory. I get a lot of pixelated and blurred tiles when was trying AO in XP12, and also in XP11 with any version above v4.4. Now using only v4.4 in XP11, works perfectly. Not sure is the same cache directory the only culprit, I really don't have the time to investigate.

@@FlySim24 Interesting. I've tested 0.7.1 and it was injecting blurry and pixelated tiles all over in both XP11 and XP12, so I reverted back to 0.4.4, and using it only in XP11.

@@RBEmerson SAM is a plugin for Scenery Animation and enhancements. If you haven’t got it then don’t worry. Look closely at the order of the Scenery_packs.ini file. If you still need help then join my Discord and I will try to help you there.

Hi, if you use v0.7.1 you can setup for the sceneries to download to a common disk drive that will be used by both, but you need to do the installation separately for XP11 and XP12 (2 different folders) to run it. Hope this helps ✈️😎

When I try to download north america, the download speed is around 1mbps, and the north america scenery is downloaded, however I haven't downloaded Africa, Oceania, etc. Is that why it is slow??

Downloading scenery files can be tricky as it depends on how busy the server is. Try at different times and it doesn’t matter what order you have downloaded them, you can get just the area that you want to fly and leave the rest.

Missing buildings, that could be a problem with your scenery_packs.ini file. Check the order and compare it with mine in the video ✈️😎

@@FlySim24 I highly recommend you buy the xorganizer that on version 330 supports autoortho natively. Using the Simhaven packages is also a great option to populate the scenery with buildings, houses, etc

Hi, no need to configure every time as long as you start AutoOrtho before starting X-Plane!
