One day when I was bank fishing the game warden came up to me to check my license. He seen I was fishing with a frog, he told me if I took my pliers and bend the hooks out a little I would get better hook ups. So I did that and it did improve my hook up , and less fish getting away.

Frogs are hard to beat. A lot of water around here in Iowa are getting invaded by out of control vegetation, a frog is your only hope of getting to them. Great video!!

Edwin, if ever there was a video on frog fishing to make you want to get your frogs out and go fishing this is it. I have only caught a couple bass on a frog in all my years of fishing. My boat isn’t running now but I will start taking a rod with a frog tied on with me and try catching some from shore. If the lake I’m fishing doesn’t have grass do I just look for cover to fish? Good video Edwin but here's my dilemma everybody knows frog fishing in grass cuz everybody has done a video on it but what about us in the southeast that don't have grass lake, we throw frogs around an under docks, seawalls, blowdowns etc how bout doing a video like that so the guys like myself that are not fortunate enuff to have grass lake nearby can relate. Seems every good video is on grass lakes so it's hard for us to relate. But we will know what to do when we get to a grass lake. Thanks Edwin!

When will Berkley come out with their own frogs? I've always found if they aren't eating the standard size frog I'll always switch to a smaller one.

Try the spro Jr size it seems to be that perfect smaller size that you can still throw on a heavy braid set up
