So sorry to hear but your injury, its gotta suck but things always happen for a reason. Would be great for you to go and document not only your recovery, but Devon's journey to the trials and olympics. Hell even for all of USATF, they would be fools not to hire you for this! Good luck on your road to recovery, really pulling for you.

That really sucks, Mitch. Can’t say I’m surprised after your last video, but that’s such disappointing news. I know you’re right, though…you’ll work your ass off recovering and be back stronger than ever. Stay strong and keep up your positive attitude.

If you're interested and haven't heard of it, research "RPR (Reflexive Performance Reset),"I think it'll help you especially after surgery, it resets compensation patterns neurologically first then addresses the muscular aspect. I use it myself (there's 3 levels of certification, I'm level 1) and many schools (NCAA, high schools) like the University of Minnesota and Clemson have vastly decreased their number of injuries!

This really sucks, but I'm glad you're taking it in stride. Bestest of best of luck for the surgery!

Tommy John surgery is much more successful than in the past. You are still a young man. Decathletes often peak in their early 30's. I saw the results and figured this was the path you were headed down. Get healthy and go back to training yourself in your home state. Or better yet train with other decathletes if possible. The best is yet to come if you want it to happen. Thanks for all the content over the years.

Talk to Jamie Cook about Brian Chaput (UPenn’04). Brian rehabbed after 3 Tommy John surgeries and went on to throw 81.80 in the jav.
