I'm really glad to hear your story because mine is similar and traumatic. I'd describe the magnesium as feeling like I'm burning from the inside.

@@AVMermaid That's terrible they didn't tell you it was the mag drip. The staff at my hospital said something like 'you'll feel kind of warm.' It was worse than kind of warm. I was burning all over and begging for water or ice chips and they wouldn't let me eat or drink.

Eclampsia is very traumatizing really. My blood pressure was very high it was 240/140, and my baby cannot take it, she died inside me.💔

I’m so sorry. I had preeclampsia and pressure as high as you.

Lay on your left side to bring down your pressure. I had it twice and my bed rest was miserable. I had to lay on my left side for almost two months, as much as possible. It does keep your pressure down. Mine would go from extremely high to almost normal on my left. Each of my children were a month early. Low birth weight but both were perfectly healthy. My daughter was 4 lbs and had a 10 day stay in the hospital. Wouldn’t let her come home until she weighed 5 lbs. They kept her in a warmer. I called it an easy bake oven. I hemorrhaged after my son. Maybe 4 hours after he was born. I would rather have gone through pregnancy, labor and delivery again. I was hooked back up to pitocin again and the room was insane and chaotic. The nurses were pushing on my uterus with all their might. I was passing huge clots. I could feel them coming out. I survived both births and so did my kids. They are 20 and 23 now. It was all worth it.

Wow. Thank you so much for sharing your story, I pray you heal from this trauma, I can’t imagine having to go through this. I definitely cried a lot but I’m so happy there was a happy ending!

I had a very similar experience! I was so out of it when my daughter was born I had to tell the nurses to take her off of me, I couldn’t even control my arms let alone hold her. I’m glad you’re ok!

😭😭😭😭 I'm so happy that you are all well. I cried watching this, you're such a strong woman!!! I'm so glad you didn't need emergency C-section. For me recovery from planned C-sections was traumatic and painful for at least 1-2 weeks. I'm so glad God spared that for you having already such a difficult pregnancy and delivery.

Magnesium drip!!! (And the catheter 😢 ouch. And pitocin 😩😫) Nooooo!!!! Preeclampsia is no joke! The magnesium had me seeing quadruple. I had it for 5 days. It made all good taste so bad for so long after. So glad you two are well!

160/106 is stage 2 hypertension. Stage 3 hypertension is 180/120+ Usually stage 2 can be managed at home with medication but being pregnant changes everything and you need to go to the hospital because the risk is much higher and much more dangerous for mom and baby. I’m glad y’all are both okay now!

Thank you so much for pronouncing the name Julie correctly! 🥳 Most people pronounce it as JEWEL-E but that’s wrong. The correct way to pronounce it is JEW-LEE

I also had preclampsia and it’s such a scary thing to go through. I am glad you are ok now❤️ when you said magnesium drip I started having flashbacks lol. 🤢🤕. My epidural also only worked on one side for me!

Im curious how you think the rest of us that have emergency c-sections get up and go to our babies in the NICU? We walk! Its not that bad.
@withlovefromfrance21367 ай бұрын
My baby was not in the NICU. But i had two c-section and i had to walk literally 5 hours after. I did not have foggy vision and i could change and feed my baby. I just think this (inducing +magnesium drip) was so unnecessary... Sometimes c section are necessary. Not all women are chained to bed in pain after c section.

Why did your husband have you pack your bag while you’re having high BP and stroke symptoms? That is uhhh not cool of him..idk maybe it’s just my husband but he would never do that..
