So sorry this happened to you but so grateful that you shared your story! No one talks about how hard it is. I also had a traumatic birth...induced (twice), 16 hour labour, pushed for an hour, suction and forceps, epesiotomy, 3rd degree tear, broken tail bone, urinary retention and had to leave catheter in to go home, reaction to iron infusion and possible infection in tear (waiting for doctors app). Everytime I think of the experience or go to tell someone I just cry...can't control it xo

I had forceps and episiotomy 7 years ago, and 18 months after that I had a natural birth to my son... I have a pelvic floor issue now:(, nobody told me anything about physiotherapy or pelvic floor issues. If I knew that I would go for the ceaseran section.... Doctors and nurses never mention the risks of vaginal delivery, they just tell you about the risks of the caesarian section.

i’m so sorry this happened to you, i literally had the exact same experience.. i was told my baby was smaller than she actually she was, and she was wedged in my pelvis and was never fitting down any further, she kept getting distressed at every contraction and they told me she had the cord wrapped round her neck.. ended up in an emergency c section under general anaesthetic because they couldn’t monitor me due to the shaking. didn’t see my baby come into the world, missed out on the first 3-4 hours of her life.. also turns out the cord wasn’t wrapped round her neck, she was distressed because she was trying to come down and she couldn’t.. but like you said, would do it all again in a heartbeat for our babies🥰 hope you’re doing better x

I’m so sorry to hear about your journey. I’m currently over 17 weeks pregnant and have been doing lots of positive birth company and hypnobirthing training (no in person classes!) and it’s really helping me to think of every birth scenario as a positive one. It sounds like they didn’t look after you as well as they should and you didn’t get your choices/no help with proper breathing! So glad you were all okay in the end ❤️

Wow I'm so sorry you had such a traumatic experience. I've never heard of health a professional being SO far off when estimating growth. They definitely failed you momma. How incredibly scary with the seizures! I had 3rd and 2nd degree tearing as well with my first - straight down almost to the bum as well as to the right side (split inner labia completely) yikes! It was a horrid recovery and took well past 3 months to start to feel normal again down there. Just know, having tearing like that does NOT increase your chances of tearing again with baby #2 (as per my obgyn) and she was right.. with my second baby I just tore a little bit internally and that was a breeze. No tearing whatsoever on the outside. Congratulations, what a beautiful baby you have ❤

Wow what a raw honest vlog. You ahve had an intense journey. My labour was very similar with spinal block, episiotomy and forceps, my son was stuck and wasnt moving either. My recovery apart from infection was smooth though thankfully and i had a natural birth with my 2nd son. Well done for being so strong xxx
