i think you are probably overpacking, but sometimes the supplies we bring serve a purpose other than just being used : they give you the comfort of knowing you have your favourites with you, and some pure cozy feels even when you are away from home. as much as a travel can be exciting, adventurous, interesting, you name it, from time to time it's good to have the grounding and comforting presence of a piece of your home you brought with you. my two cents.
