Jennifer we usually try to travel really light with just a carry on each! I do end up washing some light clothing sometimes but the travel is so much easier than searching for our luggage later on! I hardly ever bring back more clothing but I ALWAYS purchase one piece of fine gold jewellery as my trip memento!! These are all great ideas though! Hi Jennifer, I love your screened in porch! Wow, those bugs are noisy! I hope that you have a wonderful trip. We did a boat trip around Capri also and it was hilarious; the tour operator put us on an all Italian tour. The Captain kept saying, "hey lady", those were the only English words that he knew. OMG, we thought it was hilarious and enjoyed the scenery despite not understanding a word of the tour! Can't wait to hear all about your adventures! Safe travels my friend!! xo Cathy

Yes, they are a noisy bunch of bugs. They aren’t constantly making that noise…just sometimes. And all of a sudden they will stop. I don’t know who the band leader is but they seem to follow his lead! 😄 I love your “hey lady” story!! Ha!! We have a boat tour around Capri (blue grotto) etc planned and I can’t wait! xo

You and I share a aggravating auto immune problem and I have learned that having those items on your bedside table charging g or just being there is hard on your body. For your health, you should move them away from your bed if not out of the room all together. Plus a little other thing, that white portable charger you shared before, I bought one and still love it. It’s a game changer. Have a wonderful trip!

Prepare yourself for the winding narrow Amalfi coast roads! Very safe, but quite daunting. I'm VERY excited about your holiday, its such a lovely place, and the people are so nice! Ooo by the way, beaches. There are public ones where you just turn up with a towel and umbrella and lie on the sand, or there are private ones, where you rent the sunbeds and umbrellas for as long as you want, for about 17 euros or so a day. 15 euros, something like that. I like renting the beds because you can sleep, and its nice for people watching. Also the private beaches have a loo and often a snack bar.

Just came to tell you that if you like ice water you can fill your water bottle with ice and it won’t melt before going through security. I love cold water and always hated that I didn’t have ice when I filled my water bottle after going through security at the airport. 😊

So many great tips, and thank you for them! I actually bought one of those little personal fans recently thanks to another influencer on YT. It'll be so handy on my upcoming trip since we never know when a particular area's going to be hit with a heat wave. Plus women of our vintage may also be experiencing hot flashes so this is a wonderful help with that. I have a neck fan as well but those get a little bulky.

Hi, Jennifer! I love your patio furniture it’s very homey and gives a very relaxed ambiance! We also bring a passport holder that’s very easy to use. I use different inserts that is rfid for our credit cards when we travel for safety reasons. There are a lot of rfid wallets also.
