I have got to admit that your lack of the proper welding helmet when arc welding and no facial protection when your grinding worry me. But, equally, I am impressed with your skills and determination. Take care of your wonderful, dedicated, hard working self please. God Bless you.

IMHO some diagonal bracing will be required here to stiffen and support the spands for any semi heavy loads, that's quite a span for just 3 spans of 2 x 4 square stock no? .. at the bottom side or underside find the center/middle of the span, then run a brace each direction diagonal down to the base of your pillars, secure to concrete . . perhaps do this at each span? wood braces should suffice here, perhaps larger bamboo?

One more suggestion if I can, I would suggest that you loop some chain through the steel frame at one end of each segment and around the concrete support so that if you get a flood you can recover the frames, does that make sense?

If you want that bridge to stand you have to put sections at 45° every sixty centimeters inverting them with respect to each other, or it will break very quickly. When using the metal box you cannot weld with electrode, it must be welded with continuous wire, if you do not have a welding machine of this type it is preferable to use rivets, they hold much more. good luck

I e watched lot of your videos since subscribing and I am really inspired by your skill set, you are amazing, you will have a crack at any task and you do most things very competently indeed, it’s a real credit to your tenacity. This bridge build is a fantastic project. I know there are already a few messages about safety and ppe and I would be remiss if I didn’t also mention it, remember you only get one set of eyes and tinted sunglasses are no match for a full face welding mask, if you ever get welding flash you will understand why, it’s like having sand in your eyes for days so please be careful. Great job though, well thought out and executed, well done

When you’re welding galvanised you should be linishing the edges for a clean weld and some diagonal bracing for strength we would always avoid bird crap stick welding this ends up cracking a fluid line of weld is what’s required for sufficient penetration, that’s not to mention the lack of safety equipment, the first approach is to create a comfortable working position everything should be around waist height so create a bench or a few A frames, it’s extremely important to protect yourself from injuries while completing these tasks and failing to take adequate care will invariably end in disaster, that bridge will ultimately fall apart with any significant use.

my thoughts as well, complete those welds.. and remember this is not bridge type load wielding steel, it's basically for walls and such, it has some compression integrity but no lateral force for clear spans like an I beam would have .. do to its rectangular type construction it makes poor clear span material .. please use diagonal bracing beneath to support the middle of your spans here, this material bends or droops some then it fails, crinkling to the point of no return, plus there might be injury during such an event, this is just my opinion of about 45+ years of construction experience in the USA, residential and commercial . .
