During the last several years, one of my favourite notebook systems has been the Traveler's Notebook (previously called Midori). I have regular size ones and one passport size.
A couple of day's ago, after receiving a new (cheap, but brilliant!) fountain pen in the post, I grabbed the closest notebook to me at that time, which was a Traveler's one, and began to test the pen. As I was writing, I remembered just how excellent the TN's are, and decided to revisit it as my daily driver...at least for a while :)

Agreed. The Lamy's I have are superb to write with. I used to own the Lamy 2000 too, which was such a beautiful work of art. Must try and get it again someday hopefully :)

Thanks for showing your notebook. It's a good system. I bought into it when it was still called Midori. I have used the size that you show in the video and also the passport size. I have changed to the Paper-Republic A6/Pocket sized "grand voyageur" as it takes standard sized pocket notebooks and gives me a greater choice of notebooks. It works well for me.

@@barrysanaloginsights I’ve had my grand voyager pocket for a week and it’s great. I didn’t know about traveler’s and I don’t think I would have enjoyed the narrow width anyway. Thanks for the video!

I bought a similar camel colour one but in the Otto brand which is exclusive to Officeworks, a major Stationary store here in Australia. It's 22cm, the same height as the Traveler's Company standard size but is 14.5cm wide whereas the TC one is 12.5cm wide. It fits nicely in my bag but I agonize obsessively about whether to keep using my Passport size for quick notes, appointments etc or to have a number of notebooks together as one in my standard size. I currently only use the standard for my personal journal. Oh the indecision of my compulsive mind....

Otto sounds interesting; I'll have to search that to see what it looks like. Ah yes, the indecision, agonising, and a myriad of other feelings when it comes to choosing what to use and write in :) There's just too many lovely notebooks and binders out there :)
