She was an icon. She may have not gotten a lot of praise for being one, but her music will ring on. She saved the Light record company from going bankrupt. This is why we can enjoy her records. I loved her music and still do.

Bru, they don't want to hear how she saved Light Records at that particular time. The Hawkins Family left Light Records and I wasn't mad, but Sandra's "Family and friends" along with "We're Waiting" gave the record company a significant boost.

Thank you for the musical tribute. Sandra Crouch was a great songwriter in her own right like her twin brother, Andrae. They both collaborated on the 70's song, "Jesus Is the Answer." I look forward to seeing them both again in the new Heaven and Earth to come (Isaiah 65:17)!

There was no other like Sandra Crouch I love her voice so much she has such in pack for souls and love's God's people. her twin brother Andre Crouch was my favorite song writer in the gospel and can play the piano he was very talented.

I had the immense pleasure of meeting Andrae and Sandra in 2011. They were both so gracious and down to earth. Our choir was in LA for How Sweet The Sound and they told us they really enjoyed us. I must admit, I went fanboy on them. We all did, actually.
