Aby H Muggle batteries have three parts, an anode (-), a cathode (+), and the electrolyte. The cathode and anode (the positive and negative sides at either end of a traditional battery) are hooked up to an electrical circuit. The chemical reactions in the battery causes a build up of electrons at the anode. Now it may be a lot to take in at first... it was for me. However, to sum it up, one end causes negative electric currents, the other receives positive electric currents so that the negative particles can become charged and cause electricity. Someone should of paid attention in Muggle Studies class. ;)

when I went here for my vacation something...interesting happened, I was going to ride the despicable me ride when I found 2 infamous non-muggles walking around, I recognized the older one by the wand he held in his hand, it was a snake headed wand with 2 emerald eyes, and they both had long white hair, that's right I met draco and luscious malfoy

Wand picking process: You stand in line for Ollivanders and they let about 20 or so people in at a time, and then close the door. Once inside ONE person is "chosen" from the crowd to have a wand "choose them." After that takes place you can then browse the shop (a separate room) for wands. They have ALL the character wands PLUS the "custom wands" you mentioned that you can get for YOUR birth month. If you aren't chosen by the shopkeeper, you can always keep going through to better your chances.

I was in Florida this February, and I loved it! I went to Universal, and I especially loved the Harry Potter-part of the park, although I enjoyed everything. (Even Dr. Suess!) I'll return soon, not only to Universal, but to Florida. Regards, a very happy Swedish 16-year old.

I was told i would go there as a christmas present. To announce it, my dad had owls fly down a zipline he set up on the stairs, and they had the invitation letters to hogwarts. BEST TRIP EVER

The movie rights belong to Warner Brothers. Licensing rights were negotiated with Universal for the park in 2007. One is currently under construction in Japan as well.

I noticed the people singing were all from different houses. I personally think the workers/actors/singers should have shown a bit personality. The ravenclaw hung back which is good. The shuffle should have sang slightly quieter or more shy. Somewhere throughout the song the slytherin and Gyriffindor should have tried to sing louder than each other or at least glare at each other. Also I am really sad. I want to go there!!!

I am so friggin fangirling about this! I want that owl to land on my window will, and tap on the window and wake menup, and I wanna open the window and I want the owl to fly around my room and drop the letter on my desk and then sit at my bedside table and watch me while I read it waiting for a reply. the letter will have my name on it, and I will open it, and it will inform me that owl I have been admitted to Hogwarts and will send a representative to explain everything to my parents. then I will go get a wand, and I will bring my cat with me, and I will get robes and books and a cauldron and a broom and all sorts of stuff!!! and I will go to Hogwarts and wear the sorting hat and be sorted as a Slytherin and show that Slytherins are not evil, and totes have besties in all the other houses, and I will go to hogsmead and omg, I will have the best time of my friggin life, and I will grow up to be a wandmaker!!! omg, this is my dream!!! What of the show in the wand shop where the older gentleman helps people find their wands and the room lights up. That seems like a lot of natural UK accents for Universal to pay for. Do they just let the locals use their American accents for these positions?

If you're JUST talking about the Harry Potter section, there are wands, shirts, brooms, hats, mugs, quidditch gear, hoodies, all sorts of replicas from the books/movies and BUTTERBEER. Honestly... if you can think of it, they probably sell it. I recommend picking up a wand or two and spending the rest on butterbeer. lol
