Great video. Question about the beach. I noticed nobody swimming. Were there concerns about sharks? Also, I don’t speak French. Would I have trouble communicating out there or there enough English speakers to get by?
@LifewithPatience5 жыл бұрын
I am not aware of sharks near the beaches in Lome. It's interesting you mention swimmers because I don't remember seeing many people swimming on that day. I will say that this is a more secluded area of the beach so that may be why you don't see many swimmers. In terms of language, I think it would be difficult to travel to Lome without at least some basic knowledge of French, but I think you can get by if you know some locals who can translate for you. Thanks for watching!

I love your channel! You have such a great sense of humour! I understand the negotiating at the market I was there, and my grandma would argue over the littlest of things no matter how cheap they were 😂😂😂. I am Togolese and French hearing you speak the dialect brings the few words I know back to me! Get people to thumbs up and subscribe as so many people have seen this video and are yet to subscribe! Also could you leave a short bio about yourself in the description for newcomers like me! |Spread the word about the true Africa! Stella

Hi There's a Togolese American I'm interested in. I want to know what languages besides french do Togolese speak
@LifewithPatience6 жыл бұрын
RomelloSkuggs hi, thanks for watching! Most Togolese people speak a regional dialect. If they are from the south, they most likely speak Ewe. But they might be from a different region. Most Togolese speak French, depending on where they grow up. Hope that helps!

There 50 languages spoken in Togo a part from french: Ewe, kabye, kotokoli, moba, bassar, losso, dagomba, ifè, Mina, yoruba, lamba, tchamba , Haussa, ect
