I'm so surprised how you could understand the negative and positive effects of Japan in only 4 days!! I live in Japan for 5 years and it took me years to understand those points!
@VladimirSkultetyOfficial7 жыл бұрын
I'm sure I missed a lot of details, 4 days is really a very short period of time, but if you just come into the country, some things really just strike you as very different, things that you gradually become unaware of if you live there for a long time.

I have lived in both Tokyo and Osaka in a total of 3 years, and I can definitely say that Osaka has a lot more of the warmth you were talking about. Tokyo is more "business" and it can be a little bit overwhelming after a while. If you ever get the chance, go visit the Kansai area. I think you'll like it :) Cheers

Thank you :) I heard several people say Osaka is very different. Hopefully I'll get to see it.

the approach for perfection makes it easy to learn Japanese. The writing and the language in general is quit ease to learn. The kanji is of course challenging.
@Re3iRtH6 жыл бұрын
Umm... no. I learned how to read and write Korean in 2 days. Just started learning Japanese and I think learning hiragana and katakana will take 3 weeks alone. Not to mention the 1-2 years learning basic Kanji best case.

Exactly, u are right that working here is so stressful...But things are changing day by day. Now, government and people(especially younger generation) started to change their mind and think like working long hours are shit. So I hope you will come back to work here someday😄

I really enjoyed this video. Tokyo is one of a few locations (my top 5 I would say) that I have always said I must travel to in my lifetime and I love hearing your thoughts on the city since my notion of it has always been sort of romanticized in a way? Hearing so many positives as well as the negatives makes it seem more realistic rather than a fantasy if you will. Still would love to go though haha! Had to follow you on instagram to since I was curious about that picture of the construction sign lol.

5:20 I find Japanese food and their rigid social culture completely unappealing, so I will probably never visit. I like following rules and believe the group should come before the individual, but I have a limit. There is a documentary about Dutch women living in Japan and their Japanese in-laws range from being difficult to cruel. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2i2i4OhaNWVfJY I was shocked to see that many foreigners want to visit and live in Japan. I then realized that most of them are only interested in things like anime, Hello Kitty, and video games and view Japan in the same way a child would. This is the first time I have heard a complaint about Tokyo's metro system, another reason not to visit.

In my experience, Japanese women in particular are much easier and a pleasure to date than any Western women. Having lived in Hawaii for 6 years with a large Asian population, I can see why many folks want to move to a SE country and learn the language.

Thank you for sharing with us :) i've always wanted to go Tokyo especially. In fact, my biggest hobbie is discovering new cultures, traveling, learning languages ... i've watched almot all your videos, and (if i got u right ^^) you actually live in Tapei. Can you make a video to explain how you moved there ? i mean i think it's pretty much complicated to get visa to travel in X country and live there .. :/ so i was always wondering how we ca do it. I actually live in France, and i wish i could definitely live in Russia or Czech Republic. Thank you Vlad 💘
@VladimirSkultetyOfficial7 жыл бұрын
Thank you:) I actually made a video called 'How I got to Taiwan'. I think I explained almost everything there. I don't live in Taipei anymore. I'm back in Europe again, I just came here for the summer. EU citizens have a 90 day visa exemption which means that I could stay here for 90 days, leave even if just for a minute and have the permission to stay another 90 days. Taiwan is an island so it's a bit more complicated (you need to fly to Hong Kong for instance) but that's one option.

Viaggi spesso? Buone vacanze.
@VladimirSkultetyOfficial7 жыл бұрын
Ciao Michele. Non viaggio spesso direi.. 4-5 volte all'anno.
@TheScizzu7 жыл бұрын
@VladimirSkultetyOfficial7 жыл бұрын
@TheScizzu7 жыл бұрын
